Isn't it supposed to be Fall?
Got up this morning and stepped outside to enjoy the morning cool while sucking down coffee and a smoke. Oops, big mistake. It wasn't cool and it wasn't dry.
Had to work on the Bike today, pulling the Carbs. again. Just carrying the Toolbox out to the bike had me sweating. WTF? I managed to pull the Carbs. without causing too much of an uproar. I'm kind of used to it by now. When I had the carbs up on the patio I stopped for a drink and took a gander at the thermometer. Hmmmmm. 91° with a humidity of 75%. (Heat Index of 113, I just looked it up.) And here I thought it was supposed to be Fall.

It's fall here. High of 13C (56F), dark, overcast and probably thunderstorms later.

It's what passes for Fall here. Temp in the low 70's, dry, nice breeze, beautiful blue sky with puffy white clouds. I love it.

Don’t know if I ever told you, but you were the first person I “met” on Lit. You invited me into Molly’s thread and made me feel at home. I really appreciated that. You also prolly know more about the “doings” of our family than just about anybody else on Lit. That’s cuz you care and are appreciated for being you.--posthumous message from Safe_Bet. It isn't fall here on the Space Coast either. Temp was up to 91F and humid. I have noticed some of the native vegetation turning brown and a leaf falling here and there, so maybe fall is on the way. I'll know it's fall when the Painted Buntings, Cedar Waxwings and Robin's show up at my bird feeders .

Wasn't it supposed to be summer? We maybe got two weeks of summer in the Northeast. As for fall -- we're already where we should be at the end of October. I guess it must be Global Warming.

Autumn is my favorite season and so far, no fall.
We live in South Carolina and usually we have a beautiful....wait, BEAUTIFUL Fall with leaves turning all kinds of great colors, crisp cool air and such. We have gone to the apple farm though and I am making pies and such this weekend and we bought a pumpkin. Also did the hayride and corn maze....I want my colored leaves, damnit!

I don’t mind working, holding my ground intellectually, artistically; but as a woman, oh, God, as a woman I want to be dominated. I wish we had your weather. Fall came a little too soon up here. If I send you some cool and dry air would you send me some warm air, humid or otherwise? I'd appreciate it...
