Chicago Loses Olympic Bid in First Round
CHICAGO-After years of planning, Chicago lost the bid to host the 2016 Summer Olympics in the first round of committee votes. The city was in the running with Madrid, Tokyo and Rio de Janeiro. Tokyo was eliminated in the second round of votes. According to reports, Chicago residents who gathered this morning in Daley Plaza gasped in shock when the announcement was made.
Both President Barack Obama and Brazil’s President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva flew to Copenhagen earlier this week to be present for the final plea to the committee. Obama is the first US president to personally appeal for the Olympics to be held in the country.

They weren't sent, they were STUPID enough to go.
This little act undermines any assertions that anyone might make that Obama is some sort of a brilliant man. No president with an ounce of sense would willingly (and I do have to put that modifier in here in Obamas case) put themselves in such a position.
The clown is either amazingly stupid, or a tool. Time will tell which is the case.

And once again, the President embarasses the nation by flying over there to get something the City of Chicago can't afford, will cost billions and will prove to be a financial disaster, that the entire City Council voted against, and half the people don't want in the first place.
The ONLY way it could've been worse would be if Chicago had been selected.

It's strange. But I dont hate him. He's always been out there but some people are way to close to this Obama hatred and I really think it's pushing the somewhat unstable over the edge.
Im not telling him to seek help like a lot have and maybe i have in the past......he has his charm and humour at times.
But what I see these days by him and some others is clinical.
One day he just wont be here and we will all wonder.
I really dont want that day to happen.

You read his (many) posts and what you see is someone seeking attention. He says the most outrageous things just to provoke a response. But I agree, it's getting a bit too much, even for a immature personality such as his.
Anyone on here that knows this kid,, get him to talk to a professional before he goes off and does something we'll all read about in the paper.

All I can say is this is the most direct Ob has been on ANY issue. I personally did not want to see all the wasted money building this Olympic crap. The work would have been great, but the embaressment to Ob is even better.

I hope he has people in his real life.

You know,, a long long time ago,,, in a Galaxy far far away,, I used to do that sort of thing for people.
I learned very quickly that you can't help those that refuse the help, you can't save or protect people from themselves, and the ONLY way to help them is for they themselves to realize,, and accept the fact that they need help.
I am sorry to say that over the years I have become jaded, I don't feel the compassion for guys like BB the way I did years ago.
But you're right, he needs help. The question is,, will he ask for it, accept it??
