I shopped at Walmart today.
I used the paper icon because this is a review.
This is a rare event, but I drove to Philly. Stopped in one on my way home. (We don't have any wally worlds in NYC, and I haven't really shopped in one since I lived in another state with few choices.)
That place is cheap! I bought a six month supply of toilet paper for about $0.40 per roll. Those are a buck each where I live! I also bought a few other odds and ends like cleaning supplies.
As for the food section? Holy shit, no wonder most of you are fat. That was some seriously disgusting looking food. For instance, what the hell was that jar labeled Ragu, but filled with what looked like Cheez Whiz? People eat that?
I thought I'd find some frozen veggies I can keep in my fridge for a rainy day but there weren't any. The frozen foods were all garbage. I did find those 3 oz packs of salmon for a buck a piece in the dry foods aisle, so I bought 10. And beans. I bought lots of beans - great northern and black.
I browsed around the music section. Lots of stuff for five bucks, but I couldn't find anything I wanted. I also checked out hosiery since Fall is here. I hoped to find brightly colored tights but no dice. They were all the sorts of things you would wear to work as a nurse. (Not to disparage nurses, as they have my utmost respect. Let's face it, work for them isn't a fashion show, nor should it be.)
Cheap tvs in there, flat screen and everything. I see why so many people have a tv in every room. I'll admit for a split second I wondered what it might be like to have a tv in my bedroom again, but I quickly dismissed the idea.
A question - why is it that so many Wal mart shoppers seem half-dead? They look very unhealthy, schlep around looking miserable... is it them, or is it Wal Mart? Is this a chicken & egg question?

I never thought about it, is this typical?
All I know is, it is a very horrible feeling to find I am out of toilet paper right after I've peed. It's hard to maintain ones dignity while dripping dry during the walk to the corner store.
Today I know for sure this will not happen for six months.

Your business of starting threads to raise the drama factor have gotten really old, the old baited thread routine you always seems to enjoy making has also flown out the door.
If you want to make people mad with your little story about walmart you may want to try another site since most here have caught on to your hidden agenda.
Do you really think people care if you shop at Walmart, neiman marcus, gucci, juicy couture, coach, Barneys, Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Dolce or Gabana?

More power to you Lady! I avoid the place like the plague!
The people who just wander and do not get out of the way to Walmart's politics keep me at a safe distance.

OK, here's a new one. I've said I've bought a gigantic amount of toilet paper from Walmart to make people mad with jealously. Here's what I left out of my tale: I didn't buy the generic tp; I bought Scott brand. Spent damn near $20 on toilet paper alone! That's right, the big TWO ZERO. That's how I roll!
Be in awe, you jealous fuck!

The UK version is called Asda. I refuse to shop there. Principles are a bitch.

It work-out attire, you dumb ass. A hour later it was drenched in sweat thanks to weight lifting.
No wonder you thought I was name-dropping when I mentioned Wal-mart: you are a moron.

Never saw a $20 Scott Brand at walmart in that size. Sams club carries the bulk variety in the larger size.
How about a photo of this huge thing of toilet paper?

Let me get this straight...
You went to WalMart, bought 20$ worth of toilet paper (come on you forgot to tell us you bought packaged underwear as well), and now you're here to "review" your experience?
It speaks for itself

Well I have no doubt that you are a WalMart aficionado, but I never said it was one "container" now did I?
And are serious? Is your life so pathetic you actually doubt a toilet paper purchase and demand proof? Seriously? I didn't claim to have bought the hope diamond... its toilet paper.
No, I'm not taking a picture you fucking douchebag. You are the only one (alt obviously) who needs it... EVERYONE else here uses tp regularly and as such aren't impressed with my purchase.

i shop there because the only other option is just as bad. sure, they're unionized, but they're fucking bastards. i know. i worked there. the union there is meaningless. everything else is the same except for rate of expansion and the fact that meijer has a worse record with gay rights than walmart.

Are you kidding? I don't have a fat, flabby, hideous ass like you. I don't wear yucky old lady underpants like you. (I just wish you'd wear those granny panties on your face. Hell, everyone does.)

No hun, the only purpose of this thread is to belittle others that shop at walmart and to try and make yourself look like the Paris Hilton of the general board.
In all seriousness I have shoes that probably cost more than your whole wardrobe.
If you are such a snobby New Yorker shouldn't you be out sipping on a cosmo with a date in a trendy restaurant?
Each time you start a thread like this all I can do is just roll my eyes out how vain they are, they are all the same subject wise.

After Wal Mart came into town, a lot of stores disappeared. I liked David's for getting slacks and winter jackets. I miss that store. Good prices too.
Oh well, now I shop there like everybody else in town.

If you have shoes that cost you more than my entire wardrobe, you probably got ripped off. Post a picture of you wearing them, with your foot next to this thread on the screen.
And for a troll, you haven't paid enough attention to me to be able to diss me properly... I don't drink cosmos, and I despise trendy restaurants.
I am about to go out to eat though.
