Things Unique to a 200 Mile Radus of DC
1. A professional baseball team that has lost 100 games (or more) in the last two years.
2. Stink Bugs in the Fall. Vile creatures.

Blue Plains sewage plant, the single largest source of pollution to the Chesapeake Bay— a once gorgeous place that has been utterly destroyed in the last fifty years by the horde of immigration by persons feeding at the trough of government.
Fifty years ago, the south side of the Potomac was nothing but cornfields. Today, it is a god-awful urban hellhole populated by the dregs of humanity.

No sir. At least not by that name, and I think the shape is a bit unique as well.

stink bugs are not unique to dc. we used to have them all the time in the "country" here in michigan. fucking hate those things. they're so goddamned annoying. also, i hate any insect i have to actually grab to get them fuck off me. this is why i hate moths.
eta: but apparently what you have is different, because i just looked it up and those don't look like what we call stink bugs up here.

I don't know about bugs. I started the thread when the news was on and they said the stink bugs we have here came on a ship from China to Baltimore 100 years ago, and are now found within 200 miles of the DC area - and nowhere else on Earth.
They are ugly, annoying, and they really stink when you squash them.

we're starting to get that shit up here as well. i've never seen a plant that you could completely separate from it's roots without it even thinking of dying.
or, at least, it looks like kudzu. i've been noticing it a lot lately. the trees around here are starting to remind me of south carolina. if it's not kudzu it's a close cousin.
