-Kit Cat was his name a 18 yr old who has moved more then a chess peice

everytime he move they always asked whats up with the bandana and

something would reveal his secret of being non-Human, He just wanted some

one to love, The kids were mean hhad been abused in school and at home he had no where to go suddenly he stoped coming to school for aweek then he cam eback one day to empty his locker in to two bookbags and brought them home there was nothign in it the next day came and news hit the school people been spreading it around about the weird kid Kit-

Adewen Marks was a short 5ft 4in girl with long wavy brown hair and dark blue eyes, weghing no more then 125 to 130 lbs slim and slender....she wasnt exactly papular but nether was she loner or nerd she fit somewhere in the inbetween catagory belonging to all and none.. having friends in all the different areas.. accept one..

She didnt like the blullys in the school and as far as she knew no one was friends with them or liked them accept there own little crowed.. They used to pick on the freshmen kids alot locking them in lockers ect.. There were 6 of them in all but Rick Jamison was the biggest jerk of all of them and there leader..

One of them had even been suspended from school for half the year because he had suposidly assulted a girl but no one came forward to suport her statement, she and her family moved.. that was a few years ago.

Now they were SR's and they had a new target.. a new kid by the name of Kit.. they shared a few class's together but she didnt think he noticed her, or anyone for that matter because he kept mostly to himself..

The day that Kit left the school she had come around the corner going from one class to another and saw 4 out of the 6 surrounding him one of them shoving him into his locker asking him what was up with the bandanna he wore all the time and jerked it from his head..

Before she could step forward to say anything however the halls begain filling up and ppl gave the bullys wide space as they went to there class's.. but some stopped and staird a bit shocked.. she had her own feet moving again and she too stoped and staired not quite beliving what her eyes were telling her..

They all moved on then as they hurried to there class's even the bullys moved away some laughing and calling him a freak as they went one throwing his bandanna back at him saying no wonder you wear this thing...

After class Adewen looked for Kit but couldnt find him anywhere.. she looked for him the next day at school as well.. still not seeing him she looked for him threw out the day.. when school ended she went to the office and got Kits address from the secretary.. saying they hada sience project to work on but she didnt know where he lived or his number..

After obtaining it she went for a walk to kits house as soon as school was over hoping he was home.. she raised her hand to knock on the door but it swung open before she got the chance and an angry looking ugly man stood there glairing at her... Well what do you want???

Adewen felt a bit embarassed now and nervous maybe she shouldnt have come.. I .. um... sorry my name is Adewen.. i share a couple of class's with Kit... is he home?

-he looked to her and grunted-"The hell if i know that stupid basterd ran off this morning saying somethign about releasing th epain and wen ttowards th ebridge"-he points to the big bridge where it seems flashing lights were-"i dont give a fuck the dumb kid is more trouble then he is worth i dont knwo why we kept him"-he shut the door as two kids passed by-"That Kit Kid is on the bridge ready to make a Suicide Dive but he hasnt yet i cant miss this on TV"-they began running for the houses-

Adewen looked at the door that had just been shut in her face in stunned disbelife and utter dislike how could anyone be that uncaring was beyond her.. she turned to leve the porch in search of Kit when she heard the other two kids going by and there conversation..

Adewen started running then for the bridge hoping she wouldnt be too late.. she didnt know what she could do or say but she had to at least try..

by the time she made it to the bridge she was completely out of breath and her side was killing her.. she looked around not seeing Kit at frist and nearly pannicked thinking she was too late. Then she spotted him, some ppl stopped to watch others just ignored him and kept going..

Adewen pushed her way threw and called out to him.. KIT... KIT.. WAIT! dont...... dont jump.. she said between breaths as she got closer to him or at least as close as he would allow before telling her to stop..

-cops and Fire fighters were there the Bridge was a scene tear sin his eyes hie book bag and his belongings at his side he looked to her at the moment he felt like jumping-"Why Shouldnt I who actually Give two shits abotu me every where its the same thing Why should i stay no one would miss me"

Thats because no one really knows you.. not the real you... if you come back and give me a chance i'd like to be your friend.. she could tell just from the look on his face that he didnt really beleave her..

I am telling the truth i know you dont think i am but my offer is real.. she climbed over the edge of the railing tho sevral ppl were ether watching her shcocked that she was going to try to help him some tryed to stop her but then changed there minds not wanting to get too close to the edge themselves..

she pailed when she accidently looked down and held on tight not able to move any further twords kit or back.. hights were not her thing and she was scared but not of him.... Kit... please.. come back with me.. she said trying not to sound as scared as she felt..

-the Railing was given way as Kit hopped off and grabbed her on the way as he held on to her tight and he whisperd to her-"I will give you a chance but please dont break your promise"-he said and closed his eyes he couldnt help but feel scared now the after shock he started to cry he fell to his knees as he winced from the pain he had endured all these years the kids watching at home felt disappointed as his parents seemed even more disappointed Kit jsut cried the police and firefighters soon just gathered aroudn to examin him-

She screamed as the railing gave away unable to hide her fear now as the sensation of weightlessness took hold and she was falling threw space..

she heard his wisper as his hands went around her waist she wasnt able to awncer all she could do in that moment was hold onto him for dear life as they landed hard but safe in the thing the fire fighters had set up below them to catch them..

she was a little shaky now that they were on the ground and looked up at the bridge where the railing had given away afraid she might get sick for a moment as she realized how far up they had been.. she looked over at Kit and walked with him over to the ambulance she didnt have a chance to talk to him tho until they had both been looked over and checked for injurys ect...

when she finnally got the chance to talk to him she sat next to him on the end of the ambulance..both of them wrapped in blankets.. I'll keep my promise.. just do me one favor.... she paused smiling over at him and looking back at the bridge again.. No more hights ok...?

It was then she heard her name called and looked over to see her mom and dad comming twords them.. Adewn thank god your ok we saw what was happining on the news. Her mom said hugging her close and doing her own inspection.. I am ok mom really..

She saw her dad looking at Kit and said.. Mom dad this is my friend Kit, the one i told you whos house i was going to after school.. her dad held his hand out first after an aquird pause.. good to see your ok too Kit..

they could both tell he wanted to ask why Kit had been on the bridge to begin with ect.. but her dad let it go knowing they would all have to go to the police station and explain everything to them and so on.. Kit would probably have to go to councling or something but at least he was alive and hopefully wouldnt mind having her as a friend.

-Kit hesitantly held out his hand and shook his hand he nods gently as he shivered nodding to adewens statment as he huddled close to her and looked to her parents hearing them talk he sighed-"what now adewen'-he said shiverign hard still the air wa s abit brisk but not that brisk as his hands held the blanket tightly around him and looked to her his eyes meeting hers-

Adewen wasnt sure what to say where did they go from here.. before she could awncer however an officer came and said he was taking Kit home and that her parents should take her home too so that they could get some rest..

i'll see you tomorrow at school ok Kit? she wasnt sure if he heard her or not because the officer was already leading him away. She felt a little sad and lonely watching him go she had met his foster parents and they wernt the best sort in the world.

Adewen went home with her parents and took a hot shower before going to bed.

-Kit wasnt in the best of shape that night when he showed up in school he was showered clean and in clean clothes in his black turtle neck comfy and light on him with baggy jeans black in color and his sneakers and socks he had a bandage around his head and a bandair on his cheek he sniffled lightly as he walekd the cool crisp halls of the school his eyes adjusted after the beating last night he tried to see straight and not wince at the light-

Adewen was dressed in a white peeted skirt that came to just above her knees, a light blue tank top with a denim vest over top. Her hair was braided down her back she had been looking for Kit before school but thought she had missed him until she saw him in the hall..

She didnt remember him being injuered last night when he had been taken home, and wondered what had happened. She went up to him. Kit .. are.. you ok? what happened? she asked wondering if he would awncer her or ignore her and tell her to mind her own buisness..

-Kit looked to her-"My parents is what happen"-he looked down and leans against her if she kept her promise then she wouldnt mind as he leans to her crying lightly-"I want this pain to end"-he said soflty his hair was soft and clean his body all though lean was strong but yet his tear seem more then just tears-

"Adwen?"-he said softly-"Whats wrong with me?"-he said lightly crying trying to figure out just because h looked diffrent didnt give them excuse to harm him or to hurt him any oen for thst matter as his eyes just lay atop his head and his tail from his jeans he lightly cryed-

Adewen let him lean on her and walked with him over to the stairs so they could sit down. She listened to him talk and let him lean against her as he cryed.. they were both late for class but at the moment she didnt care Kit needed someone..

I dont know why people are the way they are Kit.. one or two people at a time can accept an idea or a person who is different with no propblems, but a group of people its almost impossable.. were all afraid of things that are different and people tend to strike out at that differance before it hurts them.. its not fair for anyone really.. but its the way things are..

Which was true.. she always thought if you took one or two ppl at a time and explained someting it was more accepted but to present someone or something as a whole to a group you got too many giving there doubts, and thoughts allowed and scaring others into that opinion before themselves or anyone had a chance to resolve the issue with in themselves and make up there own minds , by then it was too late and you have full blown panic.. or something like that...

I am sorry about your parents Kit... we can talk more after school.. will you meet me? for now we need to get to class before we both get into more trouble..

-he nods and looked-"at lunch lets talk more"-he said and hugged her tight before running off to class-

At lunch they sat together and Alonria ignored the looks sent her way as everyone watched the two of them together.. it made her a little uncomfortable but she didnt really care.. but it left them little chance to talk.. with everyone listining so they agreed to meet after school..

The girls had gym seprate from the guys and it was then that a fire started in the school and the building was evacuated.. everyone was outside Kit and all the girls from gym ect were rounded up and ushered to the buildings across the street for safty..

there were only 5 people missing.. the school bully's and Alonria, but in the crowed and rush no one noticed right away..

everyone stay together and in your groups the teachers will begin going threw the names on the lists to make sure we have everyone so Stay calm and stay here where you can be seen..

Alonria had been following the other girls out when the fire alarm had sounded when she had been grabbed from behind a hand over her mouth dragging her back inside the girls locker room out of sight while everyone else rushed out..

she jerked and struggled against the person who held her but couldnt break free and he didnt let her go until all the sounds of people leaving and exiting the Gym were gone.. he threw her up against one of the lockers then and she turned to face him .. his arms hit the lockers on ether side of her head and his 3 friends laughed when she jumped..

So Alonria... whats the deal with you and that Freak?.... us mear humans not good enough for you ??.. Alonria spit in his face and defended Kit.. He is not a freak and at least he dosent hurt people not like you do...

He wiped the spit off of his face and one of his friends spoke up while another went to guard the door way making sure the exit was blocked and cutting of the only escape route if she tryed to run.. Siounds like she's got a soft spot for the freak.. maybe we should show her what a real man is like and have some fun right here..

The one standing infront of her smiled grabbing her chin with one hand I think thats a wonderful idea.. get undressed.. he said.. NO! she said and went to bring up her knee to hit him between the legs but he blocked it grabbing her sholders and slamming her into the locker stunning her long enough for the two not blocking the exit to help him pull her down and start to tear her clothing off themselves...

one of them hit her in the mouth when she tryed to bite him making her lip bleed and her head swim.... ohh god she thought nobody will come and help everyones gone because of the fire.. it will be too late by the time anyone notices there gone and starts to search... she could feel there hands on and mouths on her as she continued to kick and struggle but against all of them in that locker room she was no match and had no chance..

-Kit noticed she was missing when they didnt walk out but kit freaked out as he looked-"ADWEN IS MISSING YOU JERKS"-they loked as he ran back inside and searched the school-"ADWEN"-he yelled a tea rrunning through his cheek and off it as he herd yelling and ran tot he ocker rooms when he open the door he saw it and yelled-"BACK AWAY"-he yelled and ran in being hit in the stomach hard and being beat up he looked at Adwens pain and groaned as he took aPunkand slammed him in the locker stuffing him in it closing the locker then took the other punk and broke his arm and ribs he fell hard goign unconcious-"YOU LEAVE MY FRIEND ALONE ASS HOLES"-he sid as he cryed with anger as the other three charged him with a swift motion uppercutted the leader breakign his jaw and the other two left with broken arms and concusions as he cryed running over and held Adwen-"Adwen are you ok"-he said sniffling now as he took a blanket and wraped her in it-"maybe we can get a second set of clothes for you"-h said abit worried-

Adewen was too dazed and shocked to reply to Kits comment greatful simply that he had come.. she nodded holding the blanket closer to her as he got some clothing from the locker and handed them to her.. as she dressed she asked.. How... how did you know .. the fire..

Her body hurt and she did her best not to look at the guys on the floor she wanted to get out of there before they woke up.. she was going to have to make sure she wasnt alone ever because she knew they would be waiting there chance to get her or kit..

Kit we gotta be careful both of us not to be alone.. ever.. lets... lets get out of here please.. i dont want anyone to see me right now.. she said trying not to cry and wanting to make sure they were both ok, but she didnt know where to go ether..

-they ran back out side as they just began brinign people back in he looked to adwen-"do you want to finish the day out"-he said-"and then we can do something togeather or i dont know really'-he said looking to her-

Adewen really couldnt talk she just shook her head no the last thing she wanted was to be in class around a bunch of people.. she started walking no goal in mind or direction planned she just felt like she had to get away from the school and everything she felt safe with Kit but she wouldnt stop him from going back to class if he wanted she just knew she couldnt..

-he began running after her and then stopping her standing in front of her as he held her close-"Come on i'll take you home"-he said as he let her go and took her hand leading her towards her home he fel ther shake-"Want me to carry you Adwen'-he said-

she shook her head no when he asked if she wanted him to carrie her and slid her arms around his waist crying on his chest he was the only solid thing in the storm she was feeling inside and glad she had him to hold onto..

She stood there with him like that for awhile until her tears dryed.. she felt tired now and ready to start home again.. Thank you Kit.. if you hadnt come ..... sorry about your shirt.. take me home..

When they got to her house she told her parents what had happened and that Kit had saved her and once again the cops were called and she had to explain everything all over again but when the cops went to arrest the kids who had jumped her they were gone and couldnt be found.. they recommended that she not be alone at school and try to keep with a group..

-Kit looked and said-"I wont let them harm her"-he said the cops looked to him and asked-"and yoru name son"-he looked-"Kit sir"-the cops looked-"Kit you live a few blocks from thew school with a Mary and Joseph"-kit backed up-"Yes sir why is that important"-they looked a cop said-"We have to take you back your parents want to make sure you got home ok"-he looked-"No please there monsters they are not parents there monsters"-he said and looked to them-"Please no i cant go back there"-they grabed his hands-"come on Son we got to take you back "-he looked-"Please dont i'll Die if i go back"

Adewen's parents stepped forward and asked for a few moments with Kit before the officers took him home... Adewens dad was a lawer and he spoke with Kit in privet about why he didnt want to go home..

well you have 3 options one of which is out and the other two you wont like.. one is for your real parents to turn up and claim you and go threw court to get you back..second would be that if there proven bad foster parents they can be arrested and you'll be put back in and orpahanage.. and 3 you go home and deal..

however because you saved my daughter i will do what i can to ether find your real family or get you back into an orpahanage. away from the people whos care your in now. but no matter which of the options you chose for now you'll have to go with them until i can do something legaly..

He walked back out with Kit and the officers took him home Adewen moved over to her dad and said.. is there anything you can do for him?? he looked down and her and said.. I am going to try..

-once he got home he wasnt greated happily the mother had trned a stove on to make something but th gas ran mean while the father had began to hurt kit and the mother joined lettign the gas fill the house both of them under extreme condition and blinded couldnt smell the gas Kit picked it up and just let a tear out as they kicked him out of the house-"Now go fetch the dam groceries from the store"-he winced in pain as the gas filld the house fast and he grabed the credit card he was given to pick it up he got a few blocks away before aloud explosion came from his block turning around he saw his house up in flames his eyes wided and he ran off till he reached the city fire department ambulance and police were on the scene as they surrounded the scene neighbors were there Kit disappeared in the city on a friday night now school wasnt till monday he needed to find a place to hide his parents were dead he knew that and a orphanage wouldnt take him he needed to find a place to sleep but for now he slipped among the shadows all night till 10pm trying to find a spot till he foudn a lil spot in a ally with a door only openable with a lil force he used a bar he found in the ally for now it had a matress which is all he needed he frowned and curled up -
