Winter is coming

I can tell because my knee hurts like hell.

My body is a weather-vane. My nipples get hard when it's cold.

My bears britches start standing up.

I love the cooler months.

My knee aches when it's about to rain. My knee is fucked. My knee doesn't hurt when I snowboard which is strange. My knee has asphalt lodged in it.

My knee sucks.

Kind of gay to tell us about your nipples.

I don't know why my knee hurts. Just one of those things.

My shoulder hurts a lot. But it hurts because a few years ago I tripped over the dog and dislocated it. I had to bang it into the front door jamb to get it back in place.

Poor dog, you really shouldn't bang dogs into door jambs.

You shouldn't misplace your modifiers, either.

My knee hurts too.

They are gorgeous, large leafed plants that send up a spectacular stalk of purple flowers around Springtime.

I have a few of these in my front garden.

But....I do empathise the creaky joints.

Where I come from, bears don't wear breeches. Hence the folksy term, "As cold as a bear's ass"

Take the supplement glucosamine and condroitin.

Latest studies have shown these to be the best treatments for joint pain.

You will have to be taking the supplement regularly for at least 2 weeks before you start to feel the effects....less pain.

If you are skeptical, just google it.

I take that and about a dozen other supplements. I'm a bit of a health nut.

ah, good for you! me too.

Well, maybe some things just can't be helped. I suppose a sore joint in that respect is easier than something like cancer.

There are some great microwavable heat compresses that are INSTANT relief. Easy to use, and reusable.

Anyway, I hope your knee gets better soon.

I can tell because there was snow on the mountain tops this morning.

I have arthritis in every joint below my waist except my left ankle. My body is like a fricken barometer. It notes every new temprature/air pressure change with an ache and they're all different. Rain is different to cold etc.

I got asphalt too. Motorcycle accident. Both my knee are fucked. It sucks. Could be worse though. I fucked my right knee saving my babies life ( I tripped downstairs carrying him and took both our weight on the knee to stop his head hitting concrete. Scariest thing that has ever happened to me.)

I believe they work for some people. All my family have tried these things, but they did nothing for any of us.

Reminds me of something I saw this morning on Drudge...

Quote:
Southern Wyoming this morning has already seen upward of 2 inches of snow, said Don Day Jr. of DayWeather, the Coloradoan's weather service. Parts of Larimer County above 7,500 feet saw snow this morning, including Red Feather Lakes and Glacier View Meadows.

While that snow hasn't stuck much, Day said, it's a harbinger of things to come. Autumn officially starts tomorrow.

"Fall was cancelled and we've gone straight to winter," he said ...
