A woman's figure and breast size

It may sound stupid, but I know nothing of this for story writing.
I need some help.

First, how are a woman's mesurments taken and how does it all transfer into text for a story?
Is it really important for erotica to detail the woman?
Can't the characters be generalized as cute, pretty, and sexy?
Need partner for multiple erotic stories on another site.

to answer your questions;
A woman's measurements are taken with a grain of salt, because they have almost nothing to do with what she is or why she's attractive. It all transfers into the text of a story most of us will click right away from....

depending on who you write your erotica for, it is not important to detail the woman-- or the man either. People who NEED TO KNOW what the looks are like tend to watch porn and not read much.

And, yes; You say cute, I know what cute means to me... so I know exactly what your character looks like!

In the writers FAQ is says that you are supposed to give cup sizes and all that. Don't. Your characters will be more appealing if they aren't physical perfection. None of us are and we relate better to women whose figures are simply described as curvy, sturdy, or slim. You'd have to ask women how they like men described. I can't imagine anyone wanting to know that your hero has a slight pot-belly, but there's no accounting for taste.

From a guy's point of view, I think if you look at real women ( not the ones in magazines) you'll see how to describe them. It's more how their body moves and the proportion of things that appeals more to both sexes. The changes to them during sexual activity, nipples and labia and cocks enlarging and how they react, is more important than cup sizes and the proverbial 36C-24-36 syndrome or the imaginary 10"-12" cock. The more normal the character, the more interest and relating to your reader will have for them. Hope that helps

Let's do a bit of systems analysis here.

Women have tits (breasts.) Why do women have breasts? Why, to feed babies, of course. Typically a woman has one baby, maybe two. A mama cat or dog frequently has four babies or even more. Thus a mama cat or dog obviously has huge breasts, the better to feed babies. OK, that doesn't work.

Why do women have breasts? When humans shifted to upright posture, the female buttocks were no longer the usual way to attract a mate. So, maybe women developed breasts as a means of attracting a mate. Of course, that's ridiculous. If that were true, there would be publications that featured women displaying their exposed tits (breasts.) BINGO!

Just do a quick Google search for "bra measurement" to come up with the facts. There are even videos *laugh*

I've written a measurement scene before in Sisters of the Mists, but heaven help me if I know which chapter it's in at the moment. I didn't reveal the final tally, because it wasn't the point of the scene, which was a lead-in to girly sex between Christi and Andrea

You describe it just like you do anything else. In my case, I purposely turned it into a seduction scene. If it's meant to be a dry scene, then you can ram the whole process into one sentence, with just enough references to where the measuring tape goes to get the point across.

If you're talking about how do you type the bra size, and you feel that it's appropriate/necessary for the story then I would suggest using the form:

Use the number, and a capital letter for the cup size. Typing everything out in words just doesn't hit my eyes right, even though I tend to avoid numerals for nearly everything else. That's pretty much the dominant style of expressing it from what I've seen.

Many people don't want to see bra sizes and penis length in a story at all, so you might consider just describing them, even in such vague terms as large, average, etc.

I've used it before, when a woman was bra shopping, and in dialogue/thought dialogue when a couple of guys were not-so-quietly-whispering their horribly incorrect guesses about a woman's bra size.

It's not something you want to use often, but it's not as if it's forbidden, either.

Now to hit submit, and hope I didn't miss those very answers from someone else in the process of trying to read the thread and write words on flash cards for the young one at the same time
