Coming home. (closed for katydarling)

Jacob (although he preferred Jake) exited the freeway and started driving towards his house. It hadn't been an easy decision to choose a school out-of-state, but the scout had offered him tuition, housing, and a starting position on the school's swim team. He couldn't resist. But his biggest regret about moving so far away from home was his sister. They had been so close before he left and tried to stay in touch, but the phone calls and the e-mails had gotten more and more infrequent and they'd slowly drifted apart. The last time he'd spoken to her had been when he called to wish her a happy 18th birthday a few months ago and the short, slightly awkward conversation that had followed. It was almost as if they didn't know each other anymore.

'Then I guess you'll just have to get to know her again' he thought to himself as he drove. Jake had called his parents beforehand and learned that they were going to be in the Bahamas for a couple of weeks when he arrived, and that was fine with him. Lately it seemed that they were always vacationing somewhere or other. They were good parents, if not particularly close with their kids, and deserved to spend their retirement how they liked. Plus it would mean more time with his sister.

Jake pulled into the driveway and got out of the car. He stretched and twisted, feeling his joints pop and crackle after the long drive. He caught his reflection in the door's glass. He was slim and muscled from years of swimming and stood at about 5' 9". His skin was only lightly tanned from swimming indoors more than outdoors and his hair was short and sandy. He took an armful of luggage from his car and let himself into the house with his keys. "I'm home!!" he said to no one in particular. His parents were away and he had no idea if his sister was home.

Katy heard the car door slam and jumped out of her seat. She peeked out the window and looked down at the man in the driveway, unloading his car. Was that really Jake? He looked so different. Like a man, when four years ago, he had just been her big brother, who teased her and picked on her, but also had her back. She remembered the time that wierd guy had followed her home from school, and how Jake had sent him running.

She still had a week left before her actual graduation, but she had passed her exams and was done with high school forever. She just hadn't applied to college yet. Her parents hadn't been too thrilled about it, and she was sure they had told Jake. She was dreading the "Big Brother" chat, but she was still happy to see him. She felt giddy and giggly as though he was her boyfriend, and she watched him walk up the front steps and disappear out of sight.

She switched off her computer and looked in the mirror. Her long blonde hair was pulled back in a ponytail, and she had picked a white tshirt that was just sheer enough to show the outline of her lacy black bra. She was glad that she finally had a chest, after spending most of high school flat as a pancake, in the last few months she had gone from a A to a D cup, and she wondered if he'd notice. Her shorts left most of her legs bare. She wasn't quite the jock that her brother was, but she kept in shape.

"I'm home!" he yelled. She heard him slamming the door shut and shot down the stairs to the hall. She stopped when she saw him, and immediately felt her cheeks go hot as she blushed. How did she even know he wanted to see her at all.

"Hey Jake," she said, as coolly as possible. "How was the drive?"

Jake was glad to finally be back. Even after years, this house still felt like home and a rush of memories hit him, mostly of his family, but especially of Katy. He still remembered her as a shy teenage girl about to go into high school when he had left her and wondered if she'd changed much over the years.

Almost as soon as the words had left his mouth he heard footsteps come down the upstairs hall and turned to look. His eyes met hers and he had stop his jaw from dropping. He now had the answer as to whether or not she'd changed. He'd always that Katy was pretty, but she was absolutely stunning now! Jake knew that as a brother, he probably shouldn't notice things like this, but her body had matured and developed curves in all the right places, and he could tell that she had been working out. Her simple outfit of shorts and a tight t-shirt just added to...

'Come on, just admit it,' he thought to himself, 'To her sex appeal.'

Trying to push those thoughts away, he said to her "Come on Katy, is that all I get after 4 years? How was the drive? Come here and give your brother a hug."

She was across the space between them in no time. Her arms around him, squeezing him tight, her body pressed against his, noticing how hard and strong he was. She had always known he was fit, but she had never really cared until now. She rested her face against his chest and giggled.

"I'm so glad your home," she said softly, her cheeks blazing red as she said it. "It's a little boring here when it's just me."

She looked up at him, still holding him tight, and then bit her lip and let go, stepping back. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to .. I mean. I'm glad to see you, but if you need a minute to ... I don't want to be underfoot or anything. How long are you staying?"

God, she thought. I usually don't babble like that unless I'm turned on. He must think his baby sister turned into a complete idiot.

Jake dropped his bags at his sides and wrapped his arms tight around Katy as she did the same. He loved the feeling of her body pressing against him, noting that she was soft and firm in all the right places, and how her body molded against his.

He reluctantly let go of her when she stepped back, but couldn't help grinning at the way she tripped over her words. "Cat got your tongue Katy?" Jake said teasingly.

"I don't know how much I can help with the boredom, but I'm really glad to see you too," he said sincerely. "And don't be silly. I've waited years, the last thing I need is a minute to do anything. You won't be underfoot I promise. I don't know how long I'm going to be staying. I've got money saved up. I can afford to take some time off before I start looking for a job again."

God, she was gorgeous. It was almost as if she were a different person. But still, whenever he looked at her, he still felt that tug inside that only his baby sister could make him feel.

She stared at him for a moment, blushing even redder and then bit her lip. She shrugged and swung from side to side, looking up at him with her head ducked down. She couldn't seem to stop looking at him, and she wanted to hug him again. She stepped close and put her arms around him.

There is definitely something wrong with this, she thought. She pushed the thought aside, telling herself it was normal for a girl to be glad to see her brother. She ignored the way he was making her feel all flustered and hot inside, and tried to concentrate on how she should feel about seeing her brother. The trouble was, she didn't know what she was supposed to feel.

"So .. um .. is there anything you wanted to do?"

Jake put his arms around her and as they stood like that for a while in the hallway. He realized that this was probably more like something he would do with a girlfriend but didn't care. He liked the way this felt, holding Katy in his arms. If he closed his eyes, he could almost forget that she was his sister.

He realized that he had gone almost a minute without saying anything, lost in his thoughts, and quickly answered, "I don't know. I guess I hadn't really thought about it but..." Jake looked down into her eyes, "I was kind of hoping that we could get to know each other. You know, again."

He leaned down and kissed Katy's forehead before hugging her tightly again, just briefly, before releasing her. "But for right now, I've got to unpack, ok?"

She sighed happily as he hugged her, and then when he released her, she stood where she was, much too close, looking up at him and biting her lip. After a moment she blushed and turned away, taking a few steps and looking back, as casually as she could. She smiled at him, and hid a sigh. God he was cute.

"Well, I guess I can let you get unpacked," she said, teasing a little, though she did wish he would hold her again. "I know it's probably not like mom's, but I remembered lasagna was your favorite so I ... oh fuck ..."

She turned and bolted into the kitchen, where little wisps of black smoke were coming out of the oven. She turned it off and grabbed a potholder, but when she opened it, the smoke billowed out.

"Jake," she called out. "Would you mind if we got take out tonight?"

She dumped the still smoking lasagna in the sink and opened the windows to the back yard and the pool to let the house air out.

Jake had picked up his bags and was halfway up the stairs when he caught the smell of smoke and burnt food. He dropped his bags at the top of the stairs and came back down, concerned about what had happened. He got to the kitchen just in time to see Katy start opening windows and noticed the smoking pan of what looked like lasagna in the sink.

Even so, he couldn't help smiling. He couldn't believe that she still remembered what his favorite dish was. And that she had actually cooked it herself for his arrival. "Take out sounds fine," he said from the entrance to the kitchen. He walked over to her and gave her a short hug on his way out, "And thanks for remembering," before going back upstairs.

He went up to unpack, and she scraped the burnt pasta out of the pan and went back to her room. She headed up the stairs and almost went in, but she was too curious. She went down to the end of the hall to her brother's room and peeked in. He was busy unpacking, and she watched him. She smiled at herself for being so fascinated watching him do completely boring things like hang his shirts in the closet.

After a few minutes she sighed and went back to her room. She lay on her bed and looked at the ceiling, remembering all the fun things he had shown her. Of course they had had their arguments now and then, but they had always been small things, and she had always known that he would look out for her. She sighed again. If only he wasn't he brother, she thought, he could make a perfect boyfriend.

The process of unpacking took a while. Several trips back and forth from his car up to his room. Once everything was upstairs, he start putting things away, moving here and there until his bags were finally empty. He sat down on his bed. It was neatly made, although it probably wouldn't be again for months.

He looked around the room. 'Not just a room' he thought to himself, 'My room.' It felt good to be home. And it especially felt good to see Katy again. Still, Jake was a little confused by the emotions that swirled around inside of him whenever he thought of Katy. He'd always loved his sister. He didn't know if it was the long period of separation, but right now...it felt like something more.

Jake looked out his window. He had seen storm clouds during his drive and it looked like they were getting closer, with the occasional rumble in the distance. 'Looks like the pool's gonna have to wait' he thought glumly.

He went back downstairs and stretched out on the couch. He sighed and relaxed as he flipped through the channels. Just like old times.

Katy heard Jake in his room, and she thought about how much he had grown into a man since he'd been gone. She wondered why none of the guys she knew showed any sign of turning into men. His arms had seemed so strong when he held her, she could have stayed in them forever. She sighed and closed her eyes, trying to ignore the heat she felt spreading out from low down inher belly.

Then she heard the TV come on and realized he was downstairs. She wanted to go down and join him, but he was probably going to be watching some game or something boring. Not that she'd really mind, if he just asked her to come watch with him. She laughed at herself. It was silly how nervous she felt all of a sudden, after all, it was her house too.It would just be nice if she knew he wanted her around.

She looked out the window and saw the sky clouding up. Maybe she was just feeling jumpy becaues of the storm coming. She hoped it would come soon, she thought, it would cool everything off, and when it was over they could go out in the pool. Maybe he'd like seeing her in her new bikini.

As Jake flipped through the channels, he heard thunder again, louder this time. The storm was definitely getting closer and it sounded like a nasty one. He went through the house, closing and locking the windows and the front and back door now that the smoke had aired out.

He went up to his room and did the same before stopping outside of Katy's room. He lightly knocked on the door and asked "Katy? I'm coming in." He stopped silently counted to 5 before opening the door and poking his head in. He saw that she was lying on her bed and stepped inside.

"Hey, I was about to watch a movie, want to join me?" he asked. He couldn't help glancing at Katy's long bare legs, wondering if her skin would feel as soft as it looked if he were to caress them with his hands.

She heard him moving htrough the house, shutting everything up so they would be safe and she grinned. Her parents were right, she thought, he was the responsible one. He was the one who always did the smart thing, who was always an A student and who was the star athlete and everything. She smiled and thought about how perfect his body must be. She felt a warmth spreading through her that she knew she shouldn't. She could not be getting turned on by her own brother.

She rolled over on her belly and sighed, hiding her face in her comforter.

Then he asked if she wanted to watch a movie, and she giggled. She looked over her shoulder at him and couldn't help but lift her ass up a little. Just to see if he'd look. She pushed her ass up at him, andthen slid out of bed, onto her feet. She patted his tummy and felt his hard abs.

"Sure, a movie sounds great."

There was a huge crash of thunder, then, and she screamed and pressed against him. Just for a moment, she felt his hard body, his strong arms around her, and she waned to melt, but she couldn't. She slipped out of his arms and headed downstairs, trying to ignore the heat growing between her thighs.

Katy's body shifted as she turned to look at him and she pushed her ass just the slightest bit into the air. Jake couldn't help looking at what he thought was Katy's unintentional motion. Jake tried to ignore the thoughts and feelings that Katy stirred up inside of him, and to keep his eyes on her face, but it was getting harder to do so.

There was a sudden huge clap of thunder that shook the house a little and he instinctively reached out to protect Katy when he heard her scream, holding her in his arms. He was actually a little disappointed when she slipped out of his arms and headed downstairs. He grabbed a blanket and some pillows before heading down as well.

"What do you feel like watching?" he asked as he walked into the living room.

She smiled when she saw he was bringing blankets down, and she hopped onto the couch, her feet tucked up against her butt and her chin resting on her knees. She bit her lip when he asked what she wanted to watch. She wanted him to hold her, she wanted to feel his skin against hers, she thought. It didn't matter what they watched, not really.

She shrugged and stretched a leg out, pointing her toe and leaning against the arm of the sofa. "We can watch whatever. I think I've seen everything here, except the ones Dad hides under the cabinet."

Jake raised an eyebrow, "You found those too? He needs to get better at hiding things." he said with a smile, although he had to wonder whether his sister had found them on accident or had been searching for them...

He took a comedy movie and put it in before going back the couch. He sat next to her and put an arm over her shoulders before drawing the blanket up over both of them. He pulled himself a little closer until they were lightly pressing against each other, and he could feel the warmth of her soft body.

As the movie went on, Jake found himself paying less attention to the movie and more to how Katy's body felt against his own. There was no harm in asking, so he said, "Hey, if you want to get more comfortable, I'm sure we could both lie down on the couch, if you don't mind me holding you."

She giggled at his joke about dad hiding stuff, but then he looked at her. It was just a quick glance, but she felt herself blush, and a tightening inside her. She bit her lip, glad he had turned away, feeling like her thoughts would be written somehow on her face, plain for him to see. They started watching, and all she could think about was him next to her, touching her under the blanket. She tried to watch, but it had no interest for her.

Then he suggested that they lie down and she jumped at it. Except, she couldn't let him know she was jumping at it, so she shrugged and said, "OK."

They lay spooning, her back pressed up against his front. If anything, this was worse than sitting next to him. His body behind him was so firm and hard, his arm casually draped over her waist holding her. She squirmed back against her brother, trying to get comfortable, tryng not to think about the reason she was uncomfortable. It was hard to ignore what her body was telling her.

She stared at the screen and tried to focus. She knew this movie, liked it even, but it didn't interest her tonight. The only thing she was interested in was pressed against her butt, but may have been 1000 miles away. She moved her hips again, trying to get comfortable, and sighed.

And then there was a huge clap of thunder outside, and the lights dimmed for a moment.

Jake bit his lip and fought back a moan as Katy moved her hips, wiggling her butt against his crotch. 'She's just trying to get comfortable,' he thought to himself. A huge clap of thunder suddenly shook the house. The arm that he had put around Katy tightened, pulling her closer to him. Jake's body felt so tense that it felt as though his entire body might snap like a cable at any point. He felt Katy press her ass against his lap and closed his eyes. His breathing became heavy as he struggled to contain himself.

He was so distracted that he almost missed the soft, sexy groan from Katy. He looked down at her as she turned her head to look at him and their eyes locked. There was a long moment of silence. Hesitantly, Jake leaned his head down and softly planted his lips on Katy's in a tender, passionate kiss.

When he kissed her there was a short moment when she thought it was a mistake, that he was going to stop and laugh it off as a joke. Then he held her and His mouth held her lips and she couldn't help kissing back, her tongue exploring her brother's mouth, so eagerly. She turned to face him, throwing her leg around his waist and hugging him tight.

Jake wrapped one arm around her waist and another behind her head as they kissed so deeply that he felt as though he was drowning. His tongue met his sister's eagerly, wrestling and massaging as they explored each other's mouths.

He finally pulled away, gasping for breath. He sat up on the couch and pulled Katy up with him to straddle his lap. Their lips met again in a kiss that was almost animalistic in its passion.
