Brooklyn Giselle
Born August 25th, 8 pounds 9 ounces, at 8:58pm. She has Mister's dark complexion, my nose and was born with a full head of black hair!
I was in first stage labor for five days, second stage labor for 17 hours and pushed for about 30 minutes. Unfortunately, I had a second degree tear and now have more stitches than Edward Scissorhands, and I was so doped up on drugs that I can't really remember giving birth, but Brooke is truly a sweet and very quiet baby. I really hit the mommyhood jackpot. She's cried maybe a handful of times, for a few seconds, and that's it. Mister has been a truly spectacular daddy, and has helped me without me even ASKING, and bonded with her instantly.
I love, LOVE being a mom! Brooklyn has been such a huge blessing and I couldn't ask for a prettier, sweeter, more wonderful baby than she is.
My milk has been very slow in coming in, for some reason. We were hoping to do 100% breastfeeding but we've had no choice in supplimenting with formula. She seems to be doing fine although I can tell we all prefer breastmilk to the formula, even though we bought the very best the market had to offer.
My family is truly complete now and I can't believe how happy I've been in the last few days, it's been like a really fantastic dream!
Thank you all for supporting me through the last nine months and I wanted to let you all know how much I deeply enjoyed the stories and experiences all the moms here have shared with me. You all have been a wonderful support system and I appreciate everything you all have done for me!

She sleeps so good! I do sleep when she sleeps thank you JtohisPB, that's very good advice. I got up so often to pee during the last three months that I'm totally used to waking multiple times a night. It doesn't even bother me now! 
I'm just blessed to have a husband that has a career that allows me to be a stay at home mom. Taking care of Mister and Brooklyn makes me feel...whole. Like I was meant to do this my whole life. I think that this IS what I was meant to do. It makes me think that perhaps going back to school would be a great thing to do, but trying to be a counselor as a career after that isn't really necessary anymore for 'lifetime fulfillment'. It's like there was a hole in my heart before that I wasn't aware was there, and now that I'm a mom, it's filled!
