Callaways......oh yeah....
I was out to the driving range today with my new used Callaway Woods and Driver along with some new slightly oversized grips........I was able to put a few against the far fence....And they just feel good when they strike the ball.....

I must have hit close to 400 balls this w-e. On the downside, I still can't find a driver I like.

I'd love to have a new set of irons, but doubt it would help me much. I've got a Titleist driver that I absolutely love and that allows me to drive the ball a really long way into the adjacent fairway.

I'm lucky in that a lot of people who are trying to sell me something like to take me golfing and provide me a never-ending supply of golf balls. I'm pretty bad, but as long as I don't have to pay I'm willing to go out and enjoy the course |

My core set are Callaways with a Big Bertha driver of course. When I first got them I added at least 30 yards to my drives. Didn't help a lick with keeping them straight but no club does that.

I think my Callaway irons are much better than the Pings I now keep stored in the garage, but I dumped the Big Bertha woods for Taylormades and like those much more.
But the best club in my bag is an old Cle>eland sand wedge.

I was off to the range again, after dinner this evening. I took my crap PureSpin irons and was able to keep most of them straight.
Loosing two balls in a game around here is par for me. The rough is a bit rough.
