A old man with a his son who was 50 both stood in the back yard of a house shooting cross bows and Steak Guns and a few other things like they were practicing for hunting vampires the man named Simon was a Vampire hunter his Father Jack van hellsing which he adopted the name to keep his real name secret had a daughter Simons Daughter grew up with out knowing she refuse to belive Vampires and belive they ever Existed for the time being she wouldnt listen she would be off to school for the day and it wouldnt matter to her his old partner Lillian ran off with a trusted vampire not to long ago about 20 years ago he beilves they may of had a child or not he hadnt herd from her in so long-

Kathryn rolled her eyes as she left for school. Her father and grandfather were in the backyard like they were every single morning with all of their equipment. Seriously, they needed to find something less ridiculous to occupy their time. She tossed her bag into the back of the jeep and drove to school. She only had three classes on Fridays during the second semester of her senior year so she would be home early, and have the house to herself while her dad was out "working". Seriously what did he do for a living? No one would pay a guy to go hunt vampires, they were made up creatures in movies and stuff.

She parked in the lot by her school and walked in, grabbing her things from her locker and sitting down in her seat for first period honors level biology just before the bell rang.

-The Classes at The high School were not so bad a Boy walked in who didnt usualyl come in early wearing a black T shirt and a Pair of jeans his hair in a nice cut pushed to one side of his head with ear lenth brown hair he looked over to her his eyes were warm yet had a chill run through them as he smiled-"Hey didnt know any one else was taking this class as well"-he said-

Kathryn looked up as he spoke to her. "yeah" she said monotonously, "they usually don't have a class with just one or two people" she added as a few more kids poured in, taking seats all around the room. She looked closer at him and realized she'd never seen him before and wondered if he was new to the school. "I'm Kathryn" she said as the bell rang, signaling the start of class.

-the class moved pretty fast and once out He walked to Kathryn-"im Leon nice to meet you so where you going from here"-he said as the rest of the class emptied they stood talking mean while the door locked slowly making them both unaware of it but in the shadows in the ceiling stood awaiting 3 vampires in black decked out as straight up thugs as they awaited the right time-

Kathryn turned her attention to the biology teacher and took notes on the lecture. The class went quickly, for which she was very thankful. Her next class was advanced english and just across the hall. "nice to meet you" she said when he introduced himself to her. "I've got english next, just across the hall from here actually" she added, glancing at the clock above the door.

-He smiled-"Lets Go then "-he motioned his hand being a gentleman as he let her walk by him The Vampires grined as she approched the door that was now locked he saw his breath now and he didnt want to say anything he decied to wait it slightly got colder in the room-

The two walked together towards the door, Leon motioning for Kathryn to go first. She reached for the handle of the door and looked at Leon when she realized it was locked. She tried a few more times, starting to worry a little bit.

-the Lights went off and he screamed to her-"GET UNDER THE TEACHERS DESK NOW OR STAY BEHIND THERE AT LEAST"- Three Vampires Appear in black Mist as they laughed-"Silly Leon Why Do you Insist on Helping aHunters Daughter when she dosnt belive us"-he moved fast snapind the ones neck as the other two began to throw punches at him-

Kathryn didn't understand what was happening. She turned to Leon when the lights went out, and he yelled for her to get under the teacher's desk. She moved quickly, starting to cry, more than a little bit confused. She watched as three weird looking people appeared out of no where, speaking to leon by name, addressing her father and her. What were they talking about, and how did she know about what her dad claimed to do? She turned away when Leon moved and snapped the one's neck, listening in fear as she heard the sound of the other's fists making contact with his body. She trembled beneath the desk, afraid for both Leon and herself.

-A flash of Light was made by Leon the only Supernatural Power he had was Sunburst used only once a day when possable any more could put a strain on his body as the sun burst came from his palm it disintergrated the other vampires picking up a set of there teeth-"You can come out now"-he said as he walked over to the teachers desk holding the vampire fangs he looked to her slowly crawling from the desk usually sunburst wasnt needed unless it was in big ammounts of Enemies but in the sun his Streanth was that above a muscle bound human by slight ammounts but at night in the moonlight and in the darkness his streanth was practicly unlimited yes Leon Was a Half Vampire The Son of Lillian, Jacks Partner-

Kathryn trembled under the desk, utterly confused and horrified by the actions unfolding in front of her. Her eyes moved to Leon as he offered her his hand, telling her she could come out now. She stayed close to him, amazed that he had just saved her. "This has all got to be some kind of joke right? she asked, looking at Leon, desperately hoping it had been.

Kathryn watched, her body still trembling slightly as he unlocked and opened the door without touching it. She shook her head when he told her he was half vampire. She couldn't believe it was all true. She'd just watched three vampires appear out of no where, and all these years she forced herself not to believe what her dad claimed to be doing was true.

"I don't understand why they picked me" she said as they stepped into their next class, taking seats together in the corner.

-he looked to her-"well im guessing if they are after you im guessign your family is vampire hunter related or other wise they may use you to get to them or if they bite you make you kill them eithe rway i dont like and im gonan stop them-

Kathryn shook her head. "My dad and my grandfather" she said to him, growing more worried now. "I can't go home then, it would be too dangerous for them to be around me" she said, unable to think of what she would do now, afraid for her family's safety.

Kathryn listened to Leon. Would she really be able to fight a vampire successfully without any special powers like they held? She was still very nervous, jumping in her seat whenever anyone moved their chair or desk, making a little noise. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, still trying to wrap her head around what had just happened.

Kathryn looked up at him. It both scared her and comforted her to be around him. He was half vampire and could easily destroy her if he decided, yet he had protected her from three full blood vampires, despite her family being the humans who sought to destroy beings like him. "Thank you" she said, looking into his eyes.

Kathryn sat through her last two classes of the day and wondered what she should do. Was it safe for her to go home, alone to the place where her father and grandfather would be. She looked around for Leon, hoping she'd find him soon to see what she should do.
