What's for breakfast?

Scrambled eggs , hard, add slice of American cheese to melt in the pan using a glas lid.

BAM ! Plate it and eat

With a little ketchup to taste.

My usual Sausage RobMcMuffin:

  • one toasted Thomas English Muffin (150 cal)
  • one slice Sargento Provolone cheese (80 cal)
  • one Banquet pre-cooked sausage patty, nuked in the microwave (150 cal)
  • one fried egg (70 cal)

450 calories plus one six ounce OJ with Calcium (70)....520 total calories
22 g protein
35 g carbs
26 g fats

Speaking of flakes, I had mine with "real almonds!" It brags. Are there synthetic, slivered almonds in the others?

I added some real blueberries that I froze a while back. I just put the whole container in the freezer. Seems to work fine.

I'm a Jimmy Dean man , damn good. That's a solid use of calories. I would and do use another egg in lou of the cheese when making this combo for breakfast.

This morning it's Danish and coffee , we have company so we put Danish out instead of cooking.

In a nod to the "Fiber" thread, I had one fiber gummy which is half of a proclaimed five gram serving and followed up with wheat/rice flakes (with REAL almonds) and the last of the frozen blueberries.

On that note: BRB

Speaking of Peanut Butter, I go in phases of eating it semi-regularly, then not at all. I wasn't sure if that jar of peanut butter was even any good. It's getting towards the end of it shelf life. I was wanting to try savory. I added onion powder, paprika, and red pepper flakes to an open faced peanut butter sandwich on some fairly weak store bakery sourdough that wasn't really sourdough.

Just coffee ...........

But everyone and anyone that might click in. Please help yourselves.

I had ~nine~ Dill and Sea Salt Triscuits which is apparently a serving and a half according to the box. I microwaved a four-cheese blend on them and topped with avocado and tomato.

What?

I had breakfast for supper but breakfast this morning is going to be freshly made scones.

No need to fry bacon.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper. Add your bacon. Place in a cold oven and bake until oven reaches 425 degrees. Perhaps, 400 degrees depending how your oven runs and how you like bacon.
Done! And zero mess.

Other than the fact that I've seen people start kitchen fires like that
when the grease hits the heating elements..., uh, yeah!

;) ;)

I had a strawberry jelly and peanut butter sandwich. Coffee to wash it down.

Not once has that happened to me or anyone I know, who uses this method. “60 percent of kitchen fires and from grease fires on the stove top”
So you keep doing you and I will do me.

Three eggs, three slices of thick bacon, one piece of sour dough toast, and a cup of coffee, this morning.

I've done this. It works but the bacon doesn't taste the same somehow.
