Yes I was just reading that he died in a helicopter crash. I refuse to fly in helicopters I've never liked them.

Verified. His thirteen year old daughter was onboard as well.
Bryant evidently routinely traveled via helicopter all over Los Angeles.
He owned a Sikorski S-76 helicopter.
It was taking Bryant and his daughter to his Mamba academy for a basketball camp.
