As if being involved in 2 avoidable wars isn't enough, Trump announced yesterday that he would "destroy" North Korea.

Congress votes to spend 80 billion more on military spending, but Fox news decides to talk about the debt ceiling ONLY in articles talking about the aid package for the recent hurricanes:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...o-spend-billions-more-raise-debt-ceiling.html

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...-to-pass-700-billion-defense-policy-bill.html

So 700 billion doesn't deserve a mention of the deficit, but 15.25 billion has it in the headline.

That's the world we live in. A wacky, upside down world, where our tax dollars are going to a bloated defense budget, more than 10 times the average, and what do we get for those dollars?

Do we get safety? Do we get security? Do we get peace? Does anyone outside of defense contractors get a better standard of living?

No, we get a president on the international stage, threatening to "destroy" another sovereign nation if he doesn't get what he wants, throwing an epic tantrum, and making this country far less Great in the process. He's not a deal-maker, he's a petulant child, and one that has his sights on driving us to yet another avoidable war.

So if the goal is to Make America Mediocre, he's doing a great job. If the goal is something else. Sad.

It's okay to spend money killing people in foreign countries.

It's not okay to spend money ensuring people in this country live. Well unless they are fetuses. After they are born though, back to killing foreigners.

More uninformed, ignorant, misguided nonsense and of course what Dick Dailey does best, makes things up and lies like there's no tomorrow.

Trump saying he'll destroy NK if he doesn't "get what he wants?" He said he'd destroy NK if he attacks us or our allies.

Why do you want NK to launch an attack on anyone?

What the hell is wrong with you?

Are you Dick Dailey in drag?

You'd prefer terrorists kill more innocent men, women, and children. That's pretty fucked up.

“Beating the Drums of War”: How Obama and Clinton are endangering all of us

Furthermore, with the support of both U.S. President Obama and his neo-conservative former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (famous for her psychopathic “We came, we saw, he died, ha ha!!” comment), NATO’s current Secretary General and other top people at NATO are now increasingly beating the drums for war against Russia, and are using for ‘justification’ of it the very same lie that both Obama and Clinton do, as Obama has stated it: Russia’s alleged ‘conquest’ of Crimea.

As I have documented headlining “The Entire Case for Sanctions Against Russia Is Pure Lies”, there was no such ‘conquest’, and even Western-sponsored polls of Crimeans both before and after Crimeans voted overwhelmingly to reject the newly imposed February 2014 Obama-engineered coup-government of Ukraine and to rejoin Russia of which Crimea had been a part until involuntarily transferred to Ukraine by the Soviet dictator Khrushchev in 1954, showed the very same overwhelmingly high level of public support for rejoining with Russia that was shown in the plebiscite-results.

If only we loved our own citizens as much as we hated those foreigners, we might actually be able to Make America Great.

Bombs and Bombast.

Trump is launching absurd bombast. Kim is launching real bombs - So who is beating the War Drum?

Meanwhile every tinpot irrelevant country (eg Venezuela) will jump for the nearest microphone to beat their own particular drum.

We love money more than we hate the foreigners. It's just that foreigners make an easy target to exploit because out of sight is out of mind. So we allow the upper echelon to use the wars and the deaths of foreigners to make a profit. At taxpayer expense.

"War is good for business", is an old world theme, but it clearly hasn't worked to boost our economy in the last 50 years. However, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and the Chickenhawks keep trying the same thing over and over and over, hoping to get new results.

War hasn't been good for the economy since WW2. But it has been good at enriching the very wealthy among us.

Chicken Hawk?

Let's see if you have the balls to give us your definition of a Chicken Hawk.

You don't, and you won't.

Poor Dick. He's so childish and immature that he pretends that everyone believes his nonsense and foolish, childish lies.

There's a word for people like him.

Obama administration knew about North Korea's miniaturized nukes

So how about some current events? Too difficult for you to face?

North Korea is Obama's legacy...

Tuesday's bombshell Washington Post story that the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has determined North Korea is capable of constructing miniaturized nuclear weapons that could be used as warheads for missiles – possibly ICBMs – left out a crucial fact: DIA actually concluded this in 2013. The Post also failed to mention that the Obama administration tried to downplay and discredit this report at the time.

During an April 11, 2013, House Armed Services Committee hearing, Congressman Doug Lamborn, R-Colo., inadvertently revealed several unclassified sentences from a DIA report that said DIA had determined with “moderate confidence” that North Korea has the capability to make a nuclear weapon small enough to be launched with a ballistic missile.

The Director of National Intelligence and Obama officials subsequently tried to dismiss Lamborn’s disclosure by claiming the DIA assessment was an outlier that did not reflect the views of the rest of the U.S. Intelligence Community.

It was clear what Obama officials were doing in 2013. The DIA report represented inconvenient facts that threatened President Obama’s North Korea “strategic patience” policy -- a policy to do nothing about North Korea and kick this problem down the road to the next president. Obama officials tried to downplay the DIA assessment to prevent it from being used to force the president to employ a more assertive North Korea policy.

As if being involved in 2 avoidable wars isn't enough, Trump announced yesterday that he would "destroy" North Korea.

He said: "The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea."

So plainly, the President simply said he would defend America and its allies. The nature of threat requiring its total destruction. Frankly, that's what I want my President to tell somebody who's openly threatening to kill millions of people in America and neighboring countries.
