The wars have been good to Kyleen in the sense that it brought in decent income. She went down the path of the money trail and this time it has lead her to the northern realms. The king here has been good to her so this made her decide to stick around for a time. Kyleen has been loyal to this king and had no reason to betray him, nor he betray her. In fact she has become his main assassin and thief, his go to when he needed something discrete done and she can get into places no one else can. If she needed to, she can even become anyone to get close to her target.
This last request he asked of her sent her to the east kingdoms where the Great Lord of the Six realms contained a force that is nearly impossible to kill. Her King needed the enchanted Jewelry that this Lord provides to his forces so he can find a loop hole. This unbeatable force needed to be put to rest so this war can finally end. Kyleen prepared during the light of day and traveled under the dark of night, her crystal grey eyes were like a cat and saw very clearly in the darkness. It also hid her from enemy eyes when the day would not.
It took her about four nights to make her way into the dangerous territory, in the steal of night she slipped past all the spies that watch over the lands. It took her one more night to find out where the jewels were hid and she watched the comings and going for at least two days. The night came when she felt confident enough to slip in and out without being caught, planning out the perfect route that leads past all the eyes that watch.
Once inside, she only had to knock out about four guards using a sleeping poison darts before reaching the chest full of jewels. Searching for any traps and finding none, only to laugh a little at how easy this honestly has been. A bit too easy if she was to actually gloat, however she isn't actually in the clear to be gloating just yet. After stuffing a few handful of jewelry into her satchel, Kyleen began to make her way back out, taking a different route that she came in. Not taking any chances by taking the same path twice.
Having taking out only two guards this time, she slipped into the darkness of the forest and kept traveling until daylight. Making certain she is far enough away from her targeted location and made camp for the day in a small cave out of sight. Kyleen isn't typically one for wearing jewelry, though she pulled out the satchel to see the spoils and perhaps find a few pieces that might be worth keeping. There was one medallion in particular caught her attention.
A black panther head made of onyx in the center of a silver disk with an emerald eye and the silver chain made short like a choker. She always liked the panthers, even thought herself as one at times, rarely seen and hard to find. This is the one that she decided to keep and slipped it around her neck, soon putting away the rest of the stash and proceeded to take her rest until night.
