I've had a tough time finding the right stories to write lately. I've got a ton that are half done......not sure why...

I don't know. They just...come to me...
My best ones just occur naturally, a glimmer of an idea. A story line that just starts. A character that is compelling...

Difficult question to answer. Your premise is 'nighttime' which suggests a relaxing time or perhaps even sleep time.
Based on that basis, I will say yes, 'nighttime' is the time I formulate my best story ideas (however my relaxing/sleep time isn't always at night).

I was about 3 years old, and it was getting near xmas so around 3.5+ years old.
To my three year old mind, it was Halloween one day, thanksgiving the next and then xmas. So every day there's parties and candies in this world! Cool!
