I really like when people post short stories with their pics. Adds a new dimension to the presentation. I was encouraged to do some myself. However I am a bit disappointed in the response. The "Day One" got seven replies, "Day Two" got three replies, and now "Day Three" has two replies.
Maybe the stories were too similar, and likewise the photos were similar. As I had taken photos in three different colors (white, gray, black) of underwear, I decided to make the story a three part progression. Maybe I should have stuck with one story and used just the best photos.
I will have to reconsider whether to try this again.

I'm sorry -- I've swung by several times today, and just get mesmerized by your eye in your AV and the changing picture show. I have been pondering quietly, though.
I love OnlyMeMyselfandMeAgain's story ideas, especially the cooking one.
But what I was pondering was the response issue. Plenty of times, I get very few replies to pics. I've been told to look at views, not just replies, but the fact remains that it hurts to put yourself out there with little response. I tend to find ways to blame myself: I post too much, I'm too old, my photos are more extreme and blatant than many. I know that many here have Lit friendships from before my time on the site this go-round. There's limited time to spend here, so people I think of as Lit friends may comment elsewhere, nourishing longstanding friendships, and run out of commenting energy by the time they're looking at my pics [if they look!]. And that's the mystery and the heartache and the obsession of Lit. Someone will come around often and then disappear from my thread -- they're active elsewhere on Lit, but ignoring me, it feels. Letting go of that sense of being judged and found lacking is the other side of the coin for those who post. Sometimes there are these heartfilling responses and then you're ignored. Quite a rollercoaster to ride. It's far easier to adjust expectations than hopes. I'm trying to tamp both down, but it's a struggle.

What you need to remember is timing too....I LOVE your pics and photos....I love to repond as BEST I can, to yours and many others, BUT.....I also work 50 plus hours per week and have a large family.
I Just had time to view part 3 for the first time right now. Im at work.....still very busy...but wanted you to know that myself like many others do think of you, want to follow more closely, reply more often but just cant....we are not retired and have busy real lives.
