The easiest answer I could give you is that most black people, though I grant you not all, have a very specific accent. It is a lot harder to detect a British black person though, because that doesn't really apply.
However, the human voice is a wonderful and magical thing, and as a blind person, I've learned to study it, and pick out details. For instance, there really is something to the idea that black people have larger lips. I can usually pick that out of a black person's voice, accent or no. It also affects the way they moan. The moans of a black woman sound... somehow fuller, and more vibrant. This I was able to pick out even from the more fake-sounding ones I've heard.
There is a lot to be said for different qualities in a voice. It can affect my entire experience. That, I think, is why I'm so interested to hear this. As I said I've absorbed a ridiculous amount of audio porn, and yet I would still view this as a new experience.
I've done some pretty impressive stuff with my analysis of voices. For instance, I've consistently been able to pick out among groups of people the one who would later have a drug and/or alcohol problem. I've only attempted this 3 times, but I've been right all 3. Note that I said "would later have," as I picked it out before it was actually an issue. I can't even exactly explain it. They shared an indescribable quality to their voices that an alcoholic family member of mine has, and I used that, and it worked. So voices are a big deal to me. I guess that's the moral of my story.
