Ted Cruz And Lost Causes

Read the article son, you've missed the point. Cruz is going to change the party, you and others don't see it.

If he succeeds in that, the GOP will never win another election that is not in a solid-red county. Your kind of conservative is a whole lot rarer than you seem to think it is. Not only that, but your numbers are on an irreversible decline, at least on a generational time-scale.

You know damn well the vote was not a referendum on the radical policies of Barack Obama, as his compliant press never confronted his shortcomings, his radical rhetoric, his outright lies, his foreign policy failures. Just a quick look at his poll numbers at 43% refutes your assertion that the people have given him carte blanche to fuck up the country.

He about to bail out Detroit without congressional authorization, in other words without legal authority, as if the American people had a responsibility to underwrite the Third World banditry the city council there engaged in for so many years.

The man has a big FUCK YOU AMERICA criminal mentality. He's like a kid in a candy store. He sees his job as a punitive expedition into the civil society to loot its wealth and return the spoils to his howling encampment to be handed out over joints of beef and flagons of ale.

The press doesn't vote on candidates, pal.

The people do.

You and everyone who feels like you do voted for the other guy.

You and everyone who feels like I do voted for President Obama.

We won.
You lost.

That's the bottom line.

The fact that you are singularly unable to accept this fact shows your deep-seated loathing for America and its Constitution.

Every day, leftist kids on the Internet snarl insults they would never dare utter in real life.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid have repeatedly suggested that anybody who opposes their agenda is racist (when they know that isn't true) or hates poor people (when they know that isn't true).

Republicans don't need to lower themselves to this gutter level, but they do need to be willing to oppose socialized medicine.

If McCain or Graham had half the passion for opposing Obamacare that they did for Syria, the country would be better off.

For a purported Airborne Ranger, you sure do whine and play the victim card quite often.

I notice that once again you refuse to accept the fact that Obamacare was enacted into law by a majority of Congress.

What part of "we, the people" do you dislike the most? Representative government?

The leftist kids who snarl insults on the Internet are too timid to utter such remarks in real life.

Genuine discussion has nothing to do with Person A versus Person B. It involves citizens discussing the country.

You keep repeating the same tired bromides, as if repetition somehow confers legitimacy. I laugh at your juvenile antics.

And trust me, I'm every bit as opinionated and confrontational in quote real life unquote.

You conservatives don't frighten me in the least. Never have. Never will.

He was sent to Washington to represent his constituents, he's doing so. All else is bullshit.

Yes, all else, including your notions that he's going to change the GOP and that that will do the GOP any good.

I accept that we are a divided nation, divided further by the rhetoric of Barack Obama who clearly states which side he intends to represent. He encourages the division and works to widen them daily. He a Marxist, he hates successful people, capitalism, free market economics. He believes in centralized totalitarian solutions to national problems. He neither fears or respects the law of the land. He is contemptuous of the Constitution and has demonstrated it in interviews throughout the years. None of which he's never been made to explain by a compliant press.

 See my sig line. Not the Lovecraft poem, the other bit.

Grandstand for the cameras, solicit donations, then quietly vote for something you swore on a stack of bibles you'd never support?

Some strategy there, pal.

That is exactly what The Talking Asshole had in mind. He's seen the industry that Sarah Palin has made from fleecing the rubes, and he's getting in on the action while he can.

He didn't earn a single vote for himself in any national election, but he's going to cash in this chip for millions in donations.

That sounds like the Reagan administration.

The Left will fight. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid will say anything to get what they want. They think nothing of calling people racists when they know it isn't true, or of dividing the country along class lines.

Four times in 90 minutes, folks.

Even Busybody isn't that bad.

Edited to add:
Yet another one a couple of posts down!

During his rant against "Obamacare" I wonder if Cruz saw the irony of reading Green Eggs and Ham.
I'm guessing not.

Anybody who has a good education would be able to discuss political issues in a depersonalized fashion.

Or certain republicans invoking Hitler when talking about other republicans who aren't willing to shut down the government to stop obamacare.
