I can relate to every one of these perils and then some. I have a converted closet, book shelves and book cases crammed with books in addition to stacks of books in my office and at least a dozen books in the 'Reading Room'. I rarely go a week without buying at least one book either new or used in a store or on-line.
I used to be disgusted, now I'm just amused.
