Semi Permanent marks
I'm going to be away on business for a few weeks and want to leave my sub a little something that she doesn't expect. Other than the whelps and the occasional bruise, I'd like to leave a semi permanent mark on her.
I've thought about temporary tattoos, but they don't last that long. Right now, I'm thinking about a sharpie or other permanent marker to leave a design.
Anyone have any other ideas about a semi permanent mark that will last longer than a few days?
Thanks

have you considered henna?
It's more in line with the "permanent marker." I think, done right; that lasts a week or so?

And might be better thing to do if we are talking about "something she doesn't expect."
( I had missed that line the first time I read the top post)

I agree that a great semi permanent and easy to use option of a rainbow of sharpies seems a good and simple answer... But the patience and time it takes for henna with a tiny brush is far more sensual and maybe romantic an idea.

Thanks guys. I'm really leaning towards henna at the moment. I'd completely forgotten that it even existed.
If you think of something else, please let me know

I don't think it leaves scars. From what I read it is a light burn, only the first few layers of skin. I suppose one could go deeper for a permanent scar.
I've always wanted to mark someone. I had an ex who I'd tease about making him my pony and branding him. If I knew of this "cell popping" I'd have tried it (well wanted to try it. He had no pain tolerance. But he was so cute when he flinched. Oh geez, now I'm horny)

I'm with you there. I'd love to put my permanent mark on my slave. We're not quite ready for that in our relationship, although it has been discussed.
My plans right now are for a fun night of play and then chilling out and working her mark into a nice slow nearly romantic aftercare session.
I'll let you guys know how it works out.

I've seen cell-popping done and seen the results at various intervals.
It doesn't leave a permanent scar. I was told that for most people, the scar has faded within 6 months. I know one young lady who still had a visible scar 12 months later, but apparently that was unusual.
If you want a more permanent scar then my understanding is that liquid nitrogen branding is more effective. I've also seen permanent branding that was done with a cautery pen.
I think the advantage of cell popping is that you can do fairly precise, delicate work.
The henna idea is lovely.

oh yeah, and "permanent marker" comes off of skin as soon as you hit it with dish soap and severe abrasion.
so... not permanent at all for skin.

While watching the cell popping videos, I saw this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJ43BntH2IQ
I soooooo want to be branded by my Dom when we get married. My fantasy is that he would brand my butt, while my friends watch at a branding ceremony. I know I can't do that but I can dream, right. I have already drawn up a brand made with his initials in a circle, like the old cattle brands. I don't want the little bit at a time, or an electric gun, I want it old school big metal brand red hot searing my skin and flesh and marking me as his property forever. I want to take the pain as part of the event.

I'm actually on my trip right now.
I ended up reading about henna and applying some designs to her legs, abdomen and pussy.
I also left a single dot right on the inside of her wrist, where her watch band almost covers it. I figure that gives her a reminder of what's under her clothing as she goes about her normal day.
I'm sure by the time i'm back, a good bit of it will be worn and washed away. No worries though. The scene reopened discussion of more permanent marks. Including cell popping and tattooing.
Thanks guys.
