This Thread Lacks Leadership
Really. It's a shame it has come to this. Who in the heck is in charge? And why are we even at this point? A writer with a 3k story has been tossed about for weeks. I took care of it in an hour, comments included. I used to be proud of my association with Lit.

I think the OP means this forum lacks leadership.
However what may be lacking is available competent editors. It isn't easy being a volunteer editor nor are there many rewards. It isn't a skill I possess but I appreciate those who can do it and are willing to.
Edited to add:
None of us are paid to be here, or to do anything for Literotica. We do things for the site and for others because we want to, but real life takes precedence over internet life. The Editor's Forum tries to help authors but can only do so if people volunteer to help others.
The requests for assistance, for meaningful comment or positive criticism on a story, are greater than the resources available.

I think you are right.
I have been considering re-hanging my shingle, but I hesitate when I think of the stress being a VE added to my day to day routine.

I can't say "thank you" enough to the volunteer editors, especially the ones who have assisted me. I only hope that the reward of my sincere gratitude and their impact on my writing is enough to keep them "suffering" for art with me.

It's great to be on a forum like this, with fellow erotica writers and editors voluntarily supporting the group. Looking forward to receiving support and to giving back as much as I can.
Happy Valentine Day!

Perhaps it could have been communicated better, but I feel guilty when I lack the time to edit for all of those who post here. I have taken on quite a bit and wish I was wealthy enough where I could have the time to edit all of the requests. If karma is with me I should win the lottery.
But I work for a living and my time is limited. That being said I still have more on my plate than I can handle. Then you have the powerhouse like SR who boasts about his high-dollar editorial prowess and berates my editorial skills yet doesn't take on any edits himself.
This forum requires a little less ego and more volunteerism.
Just saying.

No, what the forum still needs is less of the same old personal arguments/attacks.

Then maybe Lit needs less of me. Minus one editor. You pick up the slack.

No, what this forum needs is leadership. Why are you in bed with SR all of a sudden? Forget it. Lit is no longer worth my time or effort. I've moved on, posting my stories elsewhere.

AS, you need to follow through on your threats, and leave Literotica like you keep threatening to. You constantly talking crap about SR has gotten really old.
Put him on your ignore list and move on already.

The Editor’s Forum is for authors and editors to discuss issues related to editing stories. People are forgetting this. It's not a place for personal arguments, attacks, or discussions not related to editing stories.

While it won't happen immediately... ka-boom! All of my stories will be gone, as will I also. Will be a great relief to most of you.
Whatever.

Yes, that is what you posted a few months ago, so I can understand that it is not something you plan on doing fast or without a lot of drama queening.
