Yet another pending question

Does clicking a blue "pending" status of a story push it to the last of the line? I know it has been asked before but some say you have to push the submit afterwards and some say only previewing is enough to get your queue reset.

Based on my experiences with it, VIEWING the submission info has no effect on the submissions placement, while pressing the SUBMIT button does. The instructions make it plain that SUBMIT sends candidates to the end of the line.

Yes. If you hit pending you have "opened" the story and it goes to the back of the line.

Your question has been answered but, as an FYI, Lit currently seems to be considerably slower than usual in accepting new stories. I know two writers who had very long waits this week and last. Your story may well be appearing as Laurel clears whatever the backlog may be.
