Yeah, you've been sick too long.

Thanks. I needed a little time after I finished school to clear the brain, but then I just started at it. Some days are more productive than others. I miss the laptop. Sitting in one place all the time is boring.

Oh, well, we don't choose these things...its been a rough few months but there's no point complaining.

I know what you mean about sitting in the same place, though. I bought some butterfly wall decals at the dollar store to make the computer corner a bit more interesting.

If I have energy and money, I'd like to paint this room in the spring.

Nope, it's not too bold if that's what you like. The artwork, floor covering, and window coverings are all important to think of as well. They can tone the brightness down or make it brighter. Don't forget about how much sunlight is in there. Direct sun might fade the paint quicker than a color that isn't as bright. You could get your chartreuse in curtains and artwork then, even chair coverings and throw rugs.

It gets lots of morning sun, none after about 11.

I was tired of the beige throughout so have colour on the mainfloor but the bedrooms have been neutral...don't know how bold I'm willing to be and fading is a consideration. If I punch it up with fabric, etc. I can change it without repainting.

You can paint lighter and change your artwork and curtains easier often to give a room a new look. If you paint bold, it still looks bold even with different artwork. Plants add color. Throw pillows. Vases. Collections of whatever you like. And if you check secondhand shops, you can gather things cheap so changing them often isn't going to break you.

I'm not sure. I think I need a bigger swatch.

The only thing I don't want to change is the blind. And I think that I'll have all the Winnie-the-Pooh art and collectibles in here. Maybe I should paint it honey colour?
