Where to start....
I'm not sure who owns corsetconnection, I believe I've seen her post in the corset group on Fet. (You should join the group-so much info.)
I see a friend's photos on that site who used to model for Versatile Fashions (the exact photos that were shot for versatile fashions) I know the company changed hands and they closed their warehouse in Orange a few years ago. Back then all corsets were made in house, the last one I got from Versatile Fashions was made in China. Although heavier than the cheepo ones, it was NOTHING like the old Ms. Antoinette (original owner) ones.
I was lucky to find some at the flea market long ago that are my size and also lucky to score some before the factory closed.
The pricing seems right for a quality corset, however, beware. You may want to look for gently used, before shelling out 400 bux.
Do your research, join the Fetlife corset groups.
One of the lessons I learned about corsets, buy a classic color/style. I have some patterned/colored ones I've worn only once in many years, and a classic black one I turn to so much I'll probably wear it out!
Also, though tempting, DO NOT buy those cheepo China ones. I got a couple I needed for a costume and they ripped, they are good for one or two wearings and only then if you don't lace them tightly.
