I Know It's Shameless Self-Promotion...
...but I have to brag to someone.
I woke up this morning to find my new book at #17 on the Military Sci-Fi list for Kindle on Amazon. That put it five places up from Heinlein's "Starship Troopers." And way, WAY up from that seminal classic of "Battlefield Earth."
I realize this amounts to my having out-sold someone for a single half-hour at a swap meet frequented by people who'd already bought those books years ago, but y'know what? Screw it. I'll take my bragging rights where I can get 'em.

Anyone who can top RAH in a bestseller list, however briefly and by whatever nefarious means, deserves the proper measure of respect in my book.

"Good Intentions" is still selling pretty well as self-pub goes. I can't say I'm even remotely about to quit my day job, but it has paid real honest-to-God bills. |
