I just got a new Hitachi Magic Wand.
I would love some suggestions on using it and are the attachments worth using?
Have you had good or bad experiences with the wand?

We bought the wand with the attachments a couple of years ago...started out with the attachments but she didn't like the intensity with insertion. So it stayed in the drawer for a while.

One day this past winter she got it out and using just the head externally...working closer and closer to her clit....all the raves about the wand made sense. Intense waves of orgasms til she simply couldn't take it any more.

Now it gets used A LOT.

I used the curved attachment for clit and vaginal/g-spot stimulation. My husband uses the straight attachment anally. I don't enjoy the toy without the attachment because the vibration is too diffuse AND strong, and it makes me itchy.

Obviously people are going to have different opinions on this, so especially considering you already have the toy and some attachments, your best bet is going to be experimenting for yourself. The toy is a great multitasker, and it's a lot of fun to try different things and see what it can do.

The only negative feedback I've ever heard is that the Hitachi is too powerful and loud. However, those things can be fixed in a variety of ways.

I ordered mine for the wife last week. I expect it to arrive tomorrow and can't wait to use it with her. I logged in here to post the same question as the OP. I'll just keep following this post. I want to videotape our first use as I expect it might be incredible.

I never liked the attachments. They don't seem to do much of anything for me. I like the bare wand head best, used through clothing. Unlike most people, I thought it's not powerful enough, and modified the circuit to improve it.

Love it. Should have purchased it along time ago. The area can get over stimulated and I find it itches like crazy. I recommend removing it for a few minutes and then coming back to it. Love it on my clit. Makes me sweat and squirm. Hubby loves to tease with it. Haven't gotten any attachments yet, don't know if it would be worth it or not.

The attachments are totally worth it, IMO! I get itchy with just the head too, and using the g-spot attachment takes care of that. We've designated the straight attachment for anal use alone (at least the blue vinyl ones CAN be sanitized--we pop ours in the top rack of the dishwasher--but having one just for anal avoids any confusion and possible cross-contamination issues), and my husband is able to seriously enjoy the toy as well.

So, I'd suggest getting both the curved and straight attachments, especially since they're not expensive (anyone who's buying the Hitachi should look for a package deal on those plus the wand itself). However, if you're going to go with just one type, definitely get the curved/g-spot attachment because it'll give you the most pleasure and variety for your buck.

I've had mine for about a year, I used it without attachments for about 10 months and it was awesome! Although, I can't use it on high much. I purchased a g-spot attachment about 2 months ago and OMG it's WONDERFUL!!!!

You can also purchase an adapter that can vary the intensity of the wand. You just plug the wand into the adapter and you control the strength with a dial, go from nothing to full power with just a twist. Is a lot nicer than only the two settings on the wand itself. It is great, you can fine tune to just the right level. Hope this helps someone.

I bought the Magic Wand for my wife a little over a year ago. She uses it without the and attachment and mostly uses it at the lower speed. She says it's often too intense and actually gets her off too quickly without enough build up. She likes several other toys she has that allow her to take her time. Still, there are times that she appreciates the Wand and it's ability to "get the job done quickly".

I've tried using it on myself but I suppose I'm not much on vibrators being used "on" me rather than "by" me. I tend to like longer stroking sorts of stimulation. I initially worried that it might be pee but after reading squirting threads on here I was not so sure. They all said a lot of women hold back because it does feel as if you are about to pee. Anyway, I get a gush which feels like a lot of liquid and will soak through several layers of towel but most certainly does not appear to be pee. It does not smell of pee and the fluid is clear.

Are you really sure it's pee or female ejaculation? I've only known a few women who could really ejaculate but it could certainly seem like they are peeing to someone who isn't familiar with it. One lady let so much go with such force it would truly soak everything, but it was great. I don't care to get into a pissing match (get it?) about squirting/female ejaculation/peeing. For me, it is definitely urine. I have done some testing (anything for the cause of science ) if I drink lots of water it is clear and has a very faint urea taste. If I am slightly dehydrated it is yellow/golden and has the "typical" female urine slightly ammonia taste. If I drink lots of water and take a large dose of vitamin C it is yellow. It also comes out from my urethra. So to me, it is definitely urine and I don't care, it feels to good to worry about it being pee.

For those of you that are certain that it is a substance previously unknown to medical science, coming from an unknown location in the vagina, fine. I'm peeing and that's all I know. Whatever it is, enjoy it. I do find the sensations to be more pleasurable and intense if my bladder is full.

You can buy a rubber or plastic sheet to go over the matress and under your sheets if you know you are going to be doing that or other watersports in bed.
