Hey Morcheeba...
Did you catch the press conference Fox and Elway held where they both stated not going for a couple of quick, long passes to try to set-up a field goal attempt in those last 30 seconds of regulation was a good move, and neither regrets it still?
Fox implied the decision was made because the Broncos were shocked after the dramatic Ravens' score, like a fighter getting knocked-down and then just wanting to make it to the end of the round. I found that rather incredible.
Elway just seemed to me to making the best boss move he could: publicly backing his head coach no matter what he personally felt (I gotta believe if Elway would've had a say at the time, he would've went for it).
Fox also added that they hadn't thrown long down field but twice the entire game, so...
...which made me wonder if Manning nixed any go for it deal himself. If I remember right, it struck me a little strange that he didn't protest at all with the kneel down call (you know how "passionate" he can get when he's sure of a direction).
And then I saw this quote by Brandon Stokley commenting on McCoy in re: to McCoy's heading the Chargers now:
I wonder if there's any way that Manning will be a recognized player/coach next year? Remember player/coaches?
Whadda think? Who is truly the offensive coordinator of the Broncos?

Hey Eyer, I respond to private messages, you know.
Just watched LeBron James get his 5,000th assist and also saw him get a basket making him the youngest NBA player to get the most points EVER. History in the making!
See, I don't sit and dwell, I move on.
Didn't see the press conference, don't know what they were thinking or what will happen for Elway/Fox/McCoy, all I know is that Peyton is one of the best QBs ever and I'm sorry that he and his team didn't win.
P.S. I think he was too fucking cold and his passing arm hurt too much to protest anything by then. Those in charge were A. The Stupid Refs tossing flags left and right and B. Those he thought he could trust/believe in and when they tanked, he was like 'fuck it'

Would I be wrong in thinking you may be still holding some bitterness from the loss?

It is what it is.
If you think that I am still bitter, was this your way of consoling or mocking me?

Neither, for sure...
...btw: you did know that McCoy is the new head coach of the Chargers, right?

Stop with the chanting.
It infects my dreams.

LeBron James just said he's ready to hit 40K points after this remarkable night.
Peyton just texted me with, "You know, when I hit 40, I'll get my third Super Bowl ring."
Kidding. Peyton doesn't text. He's currently getting a flight crew to help him fly around Hawaii before the next Pro Bowl. Again.

That's all great.
And Peyton is amazing.
But the chanting... I find that disturbing.
