I was on the run again. I chose a nice town where i could hide for the night at the least. I open my motel room door and collapse on my bed my long black lace dress clinging to me from sweat.

He turned up the collar of his long coat and sniffed in one direction, and then pointed the opposite way. He led the search team a ways before falling back. When he was in the rear he whirled about. He took a second sniff of the wind before lighting a cigarette and walking through the woods. He came up behind the motel "shit" he muttered and pulled out his cell dialing, "I hope shes willing to listen..." he dialed sniffing at the back windows, he caught the scent just as the clerk answered. He asked to be connected to her room and waited out by the wood line.

The line rang several times, but he waited "c'mon," if he let it ring long enough she would answer just to get it to stop making noise, or so he hoped. The cops were hot on her tail and he wanted to help but she had to want his help.

I awnswer the phone to get it to stop ringin. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT?"

"At least you are polite... The police followed you, you won't last the night in that little shack. You'll be safer with me. Come out your window, slowly" He allowed himself a chuckle as he clicked his cell closed. Taking the last drag off his smoke he leaned casually against a tree. Waiting to see if the lost pup would poke her head out.

i open the window and look around. then i climb out.

She was stunning in that little black dress, it was enough to get his attention. He waited by the forest line until she came up. "The cops are on your tail, I led them away but it can't be more than hour before they get here. Luckily my house is just through these woods. You can hide out there"

"who are you?" i ask confused

"Inspector Canis" he flips the badge out from his coat pocket. "like I said if we want to get a lead on them, for me to have any chance at throwing you're..." he takes deep sniff "overwhelming scent. Then we need to go sooner rather than later." He walks toward her and goes to grab an arm. In an attempt to pull her into the wood line.

I push you away "don't fucking touch me or you will regret it...." I say sternly my eyes flicker to a amber then back again, my hands clenched into fists.

He stumbled back, feeling the adrenaline dump into his system. His heart raced, pupils dilated, he even let a growl slip. He fought for a moment but his vision was red already. "maybe you'll listen once you see this" he chuckled slightly, steping behind a tree. He fell against it struggling to pull his. Oat off as his chest and arms swelled. His beard growing to cover his face, shirt ripping as his chest barreled. A large wolf dark as midnight came around the other side, snarling he lunged on pinning her against a tree still growling.
