the original was a solid part of my 19+ listening, and made a big impact on me. anyone heard this new one yet? i'm glad it's wayne doing the remake.

Ken Bruce has been playing bits of it on R2. Liam Neeson isn't a patch on Burton IMHO. Gary Barlow is pretty good actually.

that's what i was bothered about - who could compare with burton's unique voice? barlow's voice has improved with age *nods*

i suppose those new to the concept will hear it with fresh ears, whereas us lot will always be making mental comparisons.

I've seen it advertised on tv a few times but they dont play much more than a few bars of Forever Autumn, even so I'm still tempted by it.
