Oh, Kitty, honey! If you are a switch, then you are a switch! Embrace it! If you like swinging on both sides of the fence, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that! If you feel unfulfilled in either position, however, then you definitely need to do some soul searching on the subject.

Fancy myself a sub but I have dominated (in my own clumsy way) and loved it...guess the best way to explain it is that I am a switch who always want to be dominated properly and sometimes want to dominate if I am in the mood for it... I have to respectfully disagree. A penchant for anal is not an indicator of a sub. Tastes are different from person to person. Not all Doms/Dommes want anal and not all subs want it either. I don't believe in a test that can answer a personal question like whether a person is a sub.

I only chime in here because there are so many new posters who are plainly searching through personally and I don't want anyone to be confused because they don't like anal.

I agree with Jen 100%; not all subs or Doms/Dommes like anal, and it's completely unfair to say that one must enjoy anal to be a sub.
