Wink Erotic chat - just starting

New to Chat.
Does PM mean "Personal Message" or "Private Message"
I see people enter a room with one to three "." Is this a code? And what does it mean?
Are there other codes I need to know?
Is there a place where I can find a guide to acceptable behavior?
Thanks

Just watch who you pm - some can be jerks so remember you "ignore/block" options! Just a fair warning.

Still wondering about the meaning of one to three "dots" or "periods" in chat message?
