Basic "douche" 2-3 times usually works, just like prepping for a colonoscopy

The recipient of said attention should go to the bathroom beforehand if they can (and a quick shower with a little extra attention 'back there' isn't a bad idea). Once the colon is empty you're mostly ok. If either party is a bit squeamish...

I've heard enemas can be a bit unhealthy.

I take a good long shower with a lot of attention back there. Before that shower I go to the bathroom. So far, I haven't had any problems.

If its a frequent (daily) practice you run the risk of washing out the 'good bacteria' that lives there and helps to break down some foods that the body is unable to break down on its own. The occasional enema done with clean water isn't generally considered to be harmful.

For what it's worth, the method you describe is also my preferred method and generally speaking gets the job done pretty well.

Agreed Kat,

Unless your into the anema I dont see the need for it. A quick shower and a bit of lube and your on your way. Once your more experienced you wont even need that.

when i started play several years ago lube was nice but not necessary, now me and hubby can switch from vaginal to anal with no problem but if there was not anal foreplay he has to go slow. my wetness from the vaginal play works for me. the only thing that i stress to him is once it is in my butt it better finnish in their or by handjob, because i am not risking my vagina to the risks of strange infections and such.

We use anti batieria wipes when we go from back door to front door.

As for the messiness, If I know im going to be with my love, I try to make sure the day before I dont eat things that upsets my stomach. I do make sure I go to the bathroom before I see him and If i can go twice there is no mess. But it does happens sometimes. Its happened a few times to us. IM more embarassed than he is. We just clean up and dont speak about it.

As for lube, Depends on the moment. We use lube MOST of the time but alot of the time we dont need it. Usually the wetness from my kitty will give us all the lube we need. But do be careful. Sorry I meant not artificial lube. A bit of spit or my own juices do the trick. Some positions are also easier than other.

Yeah, I usually get a finger a bit soapy, rub the outside but also slip it in--which is why I say gentle soap! Baby soap is great for it.
