Appeal against story denial?

I posted a startin point of a story which was denied. One of the objections is fair enough and simple to fix (changing the first thread continuing question to be a question)

But the other objection is that the "character appears to be under 18". This is simply not true. The character is 20 and I believe this is plainly obvious in the text.

Can I appeal a denial, and if so how?
