Margaret Weis & Tracy Hickman wrote some other series as well:
Darksword series
Rose of the Prophet series
The Death Gate Cycle
Out of all these series, I enjoyed the Darksword series most.

Unless I get into the cities during rush hour, it's never been an issue. I usually try to time my entrance to either before or after 3:30 to 5:30 PM.
