Yikes! Dem Presidential Candidate John Wolfe Closes in On Barack Obama in Arkansas








He doesn’t quite have the star power of Keith Judd, but he will do.

Democrat presidential candidate John Wolfe, Jr. spoke with a citizen journalist recently on his campaign strategy to defeat fellow Democrat Barack Obama.

A week ago, federal inmate and Democratic Presidential candidate Keith Judd pulled 42% of the West Virginia primary vote against incumbent Barack Obama.

The President’s 57% tally in a state that will be non-competitive in the fall was a signal of disillusionment among conservative Democratic voters who dominate West Virginia’s party politics.

Obama is likely to experience a similar wave of discontent from Fourth District Democratic voters in Arkansas.

In our latest Talk Business-Hendrix College Poll, conducted last Thursday, May 10, 2012, 38% of Democratic primary voters in the Fourth say they’re casting ballots for John Wolfe, a Tennessee attorney who filed paperwork to qualify for the Arkansas Democratic primary.

Less than half — just 45% — say they presently support Obama.

45% – Barack Obama
38% – John Wolfe
17% – Undecided

Dems Disenfranchise Voters After Polls Show Obama in Close Primary Race

After a poll released this week showed President Barack Obama only beating his Democratic primary opponent John Wolfe Jr. by seven points, 45 percent to 38 percent, in Arkansas's Fourth Congressional District, state Democrats moved to practically disenfranchise Arkansas voters. "[D]elegates Wolfe might claim won't be recognized at the national convention," national party officials are telling state Democrats. Wolfe is being accused of not following the party rules.




“They want a coronation,” Wolfe tells THE WEEKLY STANDARD. “They’re conflating [Obama] with the party. Are we supposed to call him ‘Dear Leader’? Is this some kind of North Korea thing?”

Wolfe insists he’s done the due diligence to qualify for delegates and that the state party is making decisions ad hoc to get the results they desire. “This is ridiculous," he says. "These guys are trying to tamp down voter enthusiasm.”


If he's denied delegates he's rightfully won, Wolfe says, Democrats would be effectively disenfranchising those who chose him over President Obama. And if that happens, he’ll take his own party to court.

“They took my money and put my name on the ballot,” he says. “They’re trying to make people think it’s hopeless to vote against Obama.”

Wolfe is also on the ballot for Texas’s primary on May 29.

Kentucky Democratic Presidential Primary: Obama 58%, “Uncommitted” 42%




And his Democratic opponent in Arkansas took 41%. Obama’s hemorrhaging.


(POLITICO) — President Barack Obama continued to have trouble on Tuesday performing in Democratic primaries in traditionally conservative states, barely eking out wins in Kentucky and Arkansas.

The president didn’t even have an opponent in Kentucky, but with 99 percent of the vote counted, Obama took just 57.9 percent of the vote, with the remaining more than 42 percent of ballots cast for “uncommitted.”

In Arkansas, with 70 percent of the vote tallied, Obama nabbed just 59 percent of the vote. His opponent there, John Wolfe, was able to take 41 percent of the vote at that point, according to The Associated Press.

Wolfe, an attorney from Tennessee whose platform includes repealing “Obamacare,” was able to win several counties.

What is somewhat interesting about Kentucky is that it was a "closed" primary with little or no reason for people to show up and cast a Democratic vote for anything. Despite this, enough of this low turnaround did come out and deliberately ticked the non-Obama option. How can this not be of concern to his camp? The President also lost the majority of counties (65 out of 120) in the state.

The usually pro Democratic MSNBC has a headline today "Renewed economic gloom hangs over presidential race." To continue, NBC/WSJ polling has Romney with a solid lead among men and in suburbia. It is getting closer.

Camp Obama seems to accept that Indiana is gone and really worries about Florida, Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia. The 2008 shots in the dark of Arizona and Missouri seem hopeless for 2012.

This is going to be a very interesting race. Turn out maximization baby.
