I hope you have a good wood stove at lest. Fire wood is easy to come by this year with the drought killing so many trees.
We've missed you also and how is Dad doing?
Daughter and I worked thanksgiving but we ate well. The directional drill cooked up a giant pot of Gumbo for lunch and the company man came through with turkey and Ham for supper. I was stuffed and so was she. The crew ripped pipe so we got to sleep it off.
Did I ever send you Bill's (Rumply's) phone number? If not send me a PM, he could use some company as he is totally blind. Not even light getting through anymore. |

Wood's easy to come by alright, just step out the back door, plenty of dead wood from the drought.
My kids came for Thanksgiving, son wanted venison, ended up with turkey and all the usual side dishes. We were stuffed and had plenty of leftovers to boot.
I do think I still have Bill's number, poor guy, dads almost in the same boat, can barely see anymore, and other than his leg hurtin' he's fine just grumpier than usual since it got cold. |

LOL, grumpy and cold weather go hand in hand as you get older. It makes the joints hurt and stiff. Heat seems to lubricate everything.
