A knight-captain of the Templars, Order of the Just Word, in battle John wears the distinctive heavy plate armour of his order (something like This and This, with the book of law and sword of justice emblazoned clearly and boldly on the cuirass. Outside of battle he usually wears simple canvas trousers, worn, brown leather boots and a white cotton shirt. He also wears a silver leaf pendant that belonged to his wife about his neck and a templar signet ring on his right hand. He also carries a great horn of graven bone at his hip.
