The moon broke free of the dark clouds that held it at bay,the beams falling to touch the cracked pavements below them. Not many people ventured out this late, those that did headed for the crowds of the clubs. They say there is safety in numbers and around this city it is true. This was a city that once thrived on tourists and economy, now it was a shell of its former self. Larger more secure cities had went up,behind walls to keep the trouble out. These cities became known as Havens only those who could afford the prices could live there. The others remained behind in the outer cities now called the Catacombs.

Within these outer cities an elite force had banded together to keep peace and sanity for those who had no choice but to stay behind. During these moves from city to city a new treaty had been signed. An elite force of humans, lycans and vampires patroled together as one unit. Taking care of rouges and other criminals that floted through the Catacombs. The Guardians patroled in sectors that were basically split into colonies. Lycans on one sector,Vmps and humans each on their own. Most nights though it was not unusual to see them all intermingled together.

Tonight the black hummer that pulled silently into the alley, doors opening and three forms filed out. The first stood roughly at 6 foot 8,snow white hair touched his shoulders. His ice blue eyes surveyed the area around them. His black leather clad body did little to conceal his steel honed physique. He stepped back and nodded. The next form out was an identical copy of the first with one small difference his hair was black as night. The two men spoke softly to each other as a much smaller form slid out.

Standing at 5 foot 2,this figure was definately female. Her waist length red hair was hanging loose, her green eyes looking severely around them all. Her body was also clad in all black leather, the leather coat concealing the daggers on each thigh and throwing stars on her forearms. She didnt need the weapons but one could always use a backup now and then. She nodded and the three forms moved into the rear door of the night club to start their night.

They moved through the throng of people some stopping to watch the two men who stood heads over most walk by. Most knew who they were and left them alone, going back to their dancing and drinking. The two men vanished into an office behind the bar and the female stopped to lean against the bar. The bartender moving closer.

"Quiet night so far."He yelled at her over the music. The female nodded and scanned the crowd, one figure caught her eyes. He leaned against the wall next to the bathroom,in the shadows. She could not make out his description, her inner instincts told her something was wrong with this.

She looked up as the two men re-appeared at her side. Kaleb and Luc. Two very aggressive when needed Lycans. They had become friends and partners many years ago and each watched the others back at all times. She kept her eyes on the man across the room."Kaleb tell me what you think of that guy in the hall."She askedhim knowing his intuitions usually proved right. Luc the darker haired of the two had already moved to flirt with a blonde standing close to the man they were watching.

Kaleb rolled his eyes at his brother and looked the man over. "Not sure,Jace. Not getting much vibes form him. He could be shielding." Kaleb spoke softly hardly ever raising his voice. Jace nodded and she flicked her tongue across one of her fangs feeling their sharpness. There hadnt been a good fight in weeks. The Guardians had been doing their jobs well.

Something about the man made her frown,it took alot to shield fro Kaleb or Luc and that was not a good thing in her book. She pushed off the bar and walked towards the hallway,Kaleb walking around the other way. They didnt get far when chaos erupted. Two young men deep into their drinks decided to see who was tougher. The flying chair missing Jace by inches. She turned and moved so fast most didnt see her until she had one hand around the smallers throat.

The man still towered over Jace but she made up for her size in her fighting and spirit. She growled in her throat and met his eyes with her now black ones. "You really dont want to fight in here tonight. Not really you dont."She said softly to him. She moved to late as her senses told her too. The other man slammed into her taking the three of them to the floor. Her hands pinned under the younger man. She did nothing but smile at them as they looked down at her.

"Can I introduce you to my friends. Kaleb and Luc."She said as her jacket fell open to also reveal her badge as the twins hands tapped their shoulders. The room went silent and the men began to apologise as they stepped away from them. Luc held his hand out to help Jace up. "Thought ya might need a hand."He said to her in his southern drawl. Jace glared at him for the inside joke to her size.

She watched as the two men were led out of the club with a 30 day ban on being out after 10 pm. She shook her head and looked around. The man she had been watching was gone. "Damn" She muttered still scanning the crowd.

((KK need one guy to play the unknown man..maybe later will bring the twins into full play..please pm and be able to post more than one line.))
