Not really that difficult for me. I did very similar work self-employed. The adjustment was getting used to answering to someone again. I was offered a rent free apartment and sold my house.

I haven't had a boss for a while either, except for a board of directors. But I feel like I can relax a bit now.

It was an awesome day really. One department store had a huge sale: 70-90 percent off, and an additional 30 percent off with the store credit card. I got a jacket, two pair of dress slacks, four sweaters and five or six blouses for around $150. There is an upside to this economy if you have a little money to spend. Or a best friend with a store credit card.
