Hello Authors -

We just did a major upgrade to the forum hardware last night.

Please let me know if you notice any difference in the forum speed - faster, slower, more spicy?

I did notice that my whites were whiter, and my colors were more colorery, and that my coffee stayed warmer longer.

But yes, it seemed that the forum pages were loading faster...:D
 
Now I know why there was a lag earlier. ;)

Manu, even with Limewire downloading in the background, Lit's coming up strong and fast whenever I jump forum pages. Whatever you did seems to be working well.
 
Certainly seems to be loading faster here, even with the kids on online games and youtube.
 
Lit is loading much faster. It's been very slow the past few weeks.

So whatever you've been doing, is working. ;)
 
Quick load. Usually I can go pour myself a cup of coffee and drink half of it waiting for the forums to load. Whatever you did seems to be working well.
 
Looks like whatever hardware you replaced did the trick. I was getting 'Waiting on Literotica.com' messages for awhile but that seems to have gone by the wayside.
 
Seems to be working fine for me now. I haven't once wandered off into the wilds of cyberspace while waiting for a page to load.
 
Same as everyone else....I was beginning to think it was my computer, but it's nice and quick now. :)

Definitely loading way faster on my rain soaked satellite connection here. Thanks for whatever you did :D
 
Thought I'd try using it more before responding. From forum item to forum item is less than 2 seconds for me. It's much better, thank you.

Drastic improvement. There were times where I could wander off and write three or four paragraphs waiting on a thread to load before *laugh*
 
Some improvement - not as much as others are reporting, but then it wasn't *that* slow before, for me.

Good work anyway :)

Ok. I have a quibble.

Twice now in the last 20 minutes going from Search Results and clicking on a post I have more than enough time to smoke an entire ciggie, or go to bathroom/get drink and still watch it continue to load.
 
Much faster. Usually I have time to go to some other tab and reload that before Lit is finished, but now, alas, those other sites are going to be neglected, as Lit refreshes/switches around quick as a wink.

Oh, and loading in replies is much, much faster as well! Bravo!
 
There was a bit of a lag for me for a couple weeks... now there isn't, but I don't know if anything's faster than two weeks prior...
 
Not much improvement that I noticed so far.
Still taking enough time to load a page for me to go into the kitchen and come back to see it still in the same spot.
 
When I first came on, it was faster. Now it's back to dragging it's feet again. From all areas. Even with a clean restart of browser it does this. So I guess my little quibble is a larger one than first thought.

Okay, those were my early morning results, my early evening results:

Still a lag in loading, but not as long, was waiting as much as 1 minute at times, now the wait was only about 30 seconds or so.
 
I'm still having the lag that I'd been having. It might be a fraction faster, but I'm still surfing other sites (like facebook) while I am waiting for the forum pages to load.
