I can't wait to see what he say's today! Obama has been digging his own grave lately!

Say hello to iggy :D Bye bye
You are online 24 hours a day that says a lot about what you are. lol

I'm still going to ask the question in your threads until you answer it - ignore, or no ignore.

Your refusing to address it is going to leave an impression.

Actually you putting him on ignore says more about you than him.

That's cool, does not bother me one bit, the guy has nothing logical to contribute to any threads....just one line smartass remarks in all his comments. Anything he has to say is not even worth reading.

Just as background for where I'm coming from - it started here:

I hate being called a racist just because I will not vote for a black guy!

I thought the sentiment here was a little ambiguous, so I wanted to nail down what he meant. Thus, I asked:

RoryN said:
If I refused to vote for a man because he is white, would that make me a racist?

To which he replied:

Not in my view no.

...along with some (seemingly) irrelevant points about "reverse racism".

I essentially presented him with a logic trap, and he refuses to address it. And it's really pissing him off that I won't let him brush it under the rug.

If he won't vote for Obama BECAUSE Obama's black, then he's a racist.
If he won't vote for Obama, who HAPPENS to be black, then he isn't.

It's not exactly a 'trap'.

It was a trap to see which sentiment was engendered - your first example, or the second you give.

If it's okay for me to discriminate against a candidate because of his/her race - as he says - then one could assume he'd do the same.

I don't see any way around it. How do you justify to yourself that you aren't racist, but judge people by the colour of their skin?

I can't even hypothesize an argument.

I think he's doing spectacularly well on this trip. Heads of state are praising him. The Jerulsalem Post had an article yesterday that called him "the leading candidate" in the American presidential campaign. And where is McCain? Last I saw he was on a golf cart with George H.W. Bush and looking really old there and in some footage from the supermarket cheese aisle. McCain's campaign advisors are really stumbling. He should have used this past week to make major policy statements on domestic issues: the economy, immigration, you name it. Then he'd look like a contender. Now? Not so much...

Bingo.

So, since he's decided to go "high profile" with these Obama threads of his, I think it's only fair the people know a little bit about him. :D

I disagree that not voting for Obama because he is half black Kenyan is "racism." Here's why. America is a majority non-black country. It makes sense that people would want a leader to reflect the ethnic majority in the country. Its no different than blacks in South Africa wanting a black to be President of the RSA. It doesn't mean they don't want whites to have any jobs or even important roles in government (though I'm sure some don't want them too). It just means that the symbol of the country should come from its majority population (in terms of that view). Personally, I would vote for certain blacks whether it be Alan Keyes or maybe even Farrakhan (I know he doesn't like whites, but I agree with him on lots of other key issues). If they were running of course you wouldn't have the cries going up that "people won't vote for them because they're black" mainly because the liberal establishment doesn't like them (both for different reasons).

Obama is engaging in dispicable behavior by using a foreign trip to promote himself for a domestic election. Any decent person would know that this is wrong. Of course, Obama is not a decent person so what can we expect.
