Better get some Gatorade to keep he kidlet hydrated.
Works well, and way cheaper than Pedialyte. You can freeze it and make electrolyte popsicles.

Ever know a sick kid who turns down a popsicle?

it was ... "mommy my head hurts" so i had him lying on the couch with all the lights off. he asked for a glass of water... then BARF-O-RAMA!
