Wingnut Week In Wreview for Feb 18, 2006

Thanks for the update, Rob. I'm sorry I missed all the fun. I just knew the Crypto-Fascist Circle Jerk Club would be in full spew-it-til-you-lose-it mode over the events of the last couple weeks.

So, did you guys have a vote on whether or not Reid is a wingnut?

No, but RoryN’s Anti-Gringao Whining amendment is looking better and better.

:)

No. RoryN’s Anti-Gringao Whining amendment. Look it up. It's in the first post.

:)

Rory had better realize the rule he makes will be his own. He was doing the very thing last night he imagines me doing.

Well done, Rob. I hope writing this gives you some comfort after getting slapped about in all of the substantive debates.

BTW, are you still here?

Ground breaking. No matter how many times it has happened before to someone you agree with, it's not relevant when it happens to someone you disagree with.
Ergo, it was no big deal when Reid _ the ranking Democrat in Washington - suffered a stroke last year and didn't let the word out for over 48 hours. And let's all cheer for Reid when he rips into Cheney for not calling a press conference within five minutes of a shooting accident.
Brilliant.

So, as your response, you're saying that "he did it too", huh?

*gigglesnort*

Yeah, I guess I am. :D Naturally, enforcement will be selective.

It's getting soooooo drafty in here.

I thought it was Americans that didn't get irony. It turns out it's just the wingnuts. My apologies to the rest of you.

There's a big difference between being the ranking leader of your party and being the vice president.

While I don't agree with Reid's actions, I think the difference is pretty clear.

Drafty indeed. For example, there's no question that Bill Clinton spied on Americans - remember those raw FBI files on Republicans that turned up in the White House? I don't think members of Congress were briefed on that.

My favorite moment came when Harry Reid ripped into Cheney for not promptly spreading the news. Reid, you may recall, waited more than 48 hours before letting it be known he'd suffered a stroke.
Having a stroke is the same as accidentally shooting someone. Good work, Hammy. Your logic is as abysmal as usual.

From the point of view of the public, having a stroke is much more significant, IMO. Cheney shooting someone doesn't impair his ability to do his job nearly as much as the Senate minority leader having a stroke impairs his.

Me, too, though I have to admit that I crave the other side's version as well. It would be great if we could have both. Seems like a good Miles project. Speaking of which, where is Miles?

Also, which thread was this?
Kbate is a major fool. Go search for her and my nickname. She's made a complete fool out of herself trying to oppose me. Consistently.

I don't respect her intelligence because she's easy to beat. But when she goes against AJ I can understand why she looks like she's standing tall.

Cheney shooting someone is a clear sign that his mental faculties are already impaired enough that he should not be leading. But then he proved that many times over before that.

You're like the Polaris of ignorance and stupidity, LT. A perfect constant.
