So - mom's chemo has given her a rare complication which has now damaged her lungs. They have stopped the chemo and hope that the lung damage will reverse itself. With a plan to restart the chemo. She was to be on it for 3 years. She has not yet completed 6 months.
If her lungs are not better after 30 days... well, we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
I am - oh- so- tired.

My guess is that medications ( which are only partially effective if effective at all IME) are limited for you? I am afraid I do not know the situation with cancer treatment.

Depending on the location of the nerve damage and the form the pain is taking ( for me it can present in different forms) I find different things helpful. But whether you feel strong enough to benefit from them I don't know. For me, massage is really, really helpful. A lot of people feel they cannot stimulate the areas of pain, for me it usually but not always offers me help. Some forms of physical therapy have helped. I tried acupuncture, and for me it was not helpful, but it might be worth trying?
