Illustrator seeks a-MUSE-ment

lull before the storm.

Got sheets and pillow cases in the wash for the 2nd prodigal daughter.

Soon a flurry of (more) tidying).

The bulk is over.

With quite a bit of snow displacing! More than typical at this time of year.
(I also do several of the neighbors walks and drives)

quite chilly out... finally up to 11°F (wind chill at 3°F)

working from home, not so much because of weather, but that I can. and have the one daughter home (other already headed back)...and she i splaying on her new wacom tablet. over >>>there.

a small image of a drawing from not very long ago...

Well shit...

See what happens when I don't show up? Dammit. Perhaps you could find some musement on my thread, sometime... which... I just realized, I do not have a link to in my signature. I'll be darned... that's kinda dumb. Anyway... where's the fucking art you took down? I missed it during my awol, slack period—which I'm still somewhat in— apparently. I always like your drawerings... as a colleague of mine always called the set diagrams for whatever show we were working on back the... "the drawerings..." yeah, but, back to your stuff. Your Art. I guess, you know... snooze... lose (side note... if the English language made any sense wouldn't you think it'd be, either... snooze/looze, or snooze/loose—no! because now that's loose and not lose... *FMR.
So, bottom line... I missed out. Now I'm afraid if I go looking for your stuff in the artist forum and find everything edited out... I'll just keep kicking myself in the ass over and over for missing out.
Happy New Year, and, I dunno why, or how, but I've the urge to call you doctor, so...
Happy New Year, Dr. THROBBS. :rose:

*fuck me running

Thank you, PF. :)

trade offs—
cork is too tight and oxygen is spent.
cork is too loose and one sinks and drowns.

if I spend my time in a bottle.

If I could save time in a bottle
The first thing that I'd like to do
Is to save every day
'Til eternity passes away
Just to spend them with you

If I could make days last forever
If words could make wishes come true
I'd save every day like a treasure and then,
Again, I would spend them with you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with

If I had a box just for wishes
And dreams that had never come true
The box would be empty
Except for the memory
Of how they were answered by you

But there never seems to be enough time
To do the things you want to do
Once you find them
I've looked around enough to know
That you're the one I want to go
Through time with
~Jim Croce

Just a castaway
An island lost at sea
Another lonely day
With no one here but me
More loneliness
Than any man could bear
Rescue me before I fall into despair

I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle

A year has passed since I wrote my note
But I should have known this right from the start
Only hope can keep me together
Love can mend your life
But love can break your heart

I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle

Walked out this morning
Don't believe what I saw
A hundred billion bottles
Washed up on the shore
Seems I'm not alone at being alone
A hundred billion casatways
Looking for a home

I'll send an SOS to the world
I'll send an SOS to the world
I hope that someone gets my
Message in a bottle
Sending out an SOS
~ Gordon Sumner/The Police

hmmm...the bottle theme again.
any serious stalker would have seen...

Scanning the horizon for a sign, a message, within and without my bottle telescope, trying to stay focussed, but nothing is clear.

Funny, if these last two were in opposite order, I'd be the one getting the "eye-fiull". heehee

I draw. I paint. I design.

It seems to me there used to be more "engagement" on LIT.
Initially I spent my time in the Authors' Hangout, though I was far from prolific as an author — I only had posted two, illustrated, stories.

Later, I advocated for an erotic art forum, which at first was a sub-forum of the Authors' Hangout, and eventually a stand alone forum.

Unfortunately, that forum is not well attended and the discourse is minimal.

I've met some wonderful folk through Lit.

That's it for the moment.:)

I have a question for you Throbbs. Have you ever thought about a team up.Contact me if you're interested.

Like Batman and Robin?

I've thought about that.

(even did a few illustrations of Cockman and Raven):D

OOF!

sore and sweaty.
84°F (feels like 88° - humidity)

raking, weeding, trimming, pruning (buckthorn), transplanting, cleaning the filter & remove the ook-blockage at the pump for the pond...waterfall goes like mad now.

Beautiful day.

lounging in a hammock woulda been nicer, but stuff needs doing.

today — Indoor chores. Not quite as hot as yesterday yet (83°/feels like 86° heading to 90°+), but very sunny and is feeling hotter. Luckily, 1st world — have a nice house and yard AND window AC units.

Getting papers filed, Winter coats put away (hahahahhahaa prematurely, of course), rolled up the Winter slush/salt carpets... got dusting and sweeping and vacuuming etc... to do yet.

It's still May, yet 96° (feels like 100°)

Only had a pretty quick outside project.

It's not as if I haven't done serious construction in the sweltering Summer, it just that I may have missed the two days of Spring.:(
