Looks more like penguins than auks...one can go only so far in suspending disbelief for the sake of ...

Penguins, except equatorial Humboldt Penguins, are in the Southern Hemisphere.

Eskimos are in the Northern. So why penguins in a song about Eskimos?

(edited for PS: Alma Cogan had a wicked sense of humour and a great laugh.)

Aren't you being politically incorrect? I'm sure that penguins would rather be called Great Auk...;) As for the Eskimos, I think that they prefer Inuit–Yupik (for Alaska: Inupiat–Yupik)...:D

Yeah? And why are you leaving the Greenlanders out of it? Greenlandic is largely intelligble to Inuktittut speakers. And in Canada, it's Inuit only.

And there may be Emperor Penguins, but no penguin is an Auk, great or otherwise.:p

LOL! Because, I couldn't resist it. Hey, Sticky Girl!

I knew Tio would rise beautifully to the bait. Did you see how high he jumped into the air? Stunning. Just like a salmon or bass....
