Celtic Druid Heals Injured Warrior (Closed for Slippedhalo)
[The idea for this story is borrowed from Priestess of the Forest: A Druid Journey by Ellen Evert Hopman]
Kent was a Celtic warrior protecting his land from the Northern People who would invade the land to rape and pillage. He was strong, proud and well respected among the warriors from all the villages that fought to resist the Northern People.
However, in his last battle with the Northern People, he was badly injured and the closest place for him to rest and heal was the hut of Abaris, a modest Druid/priestess/healer who lived alone in the middle of the forest. He was taken to the house of Abaris, where he was hastily dropped off with the request that Abaris heal him and watch after him, until he is ready to return to combat. His friends rushed off, as they had to return to battle.
