What Made You Smile/Laugh Today?

This isn't something I'd really want to get into - from either side of the plastic ;) - but it *looks* so neat, I thought I'd share it and the photog's website addy, where he has a nice selection of pics to enjoy, despite the slideshow format. :)

I love finding books new to me by favorite authors (as well as new favorite authors :D ). Today's find: a Spider Robinson "Callahan" book copyrighted in 2000 that I somehow missed.

(If you decide to check SR's Callahan series out, I'd recommend starting at the beginning, even though they're a little bit dated. They make more sense that way, and characters get introduced in the proper order to help the stories along.)

Apparently I've missed another book or two in the series; I'm going to have to find them now. All of them, so I can re-read from the beginning and get their feeling back properly. BTW, they're just cram-packed with puns, so the inveterate punsters here might find some new material. ;)

An answer I got on one of my confused musings about should I stay or go, divorce or not and what is the meaning of life, starting with "you will always have a place here with me..."
Even if I am not sure I can or want to fulfill that place right now, it made me smile

I bought myself flowers today.

I used to do it every pay day, to remind myself that I love me.

I need to remind myself more often.

That despite all the bad luck I've had today I still feel fantastic. Funny how bad feelings are starting to roll off my back :)

I got the rest of the yarn I need to finish the shawls I started for my nieces (very belated) Christmas presents.:D

Last night I completed a class in voiceover acting and was thrilled to be told by an actor in the class who has on-screen movie credits that he would be willing to introduce me to his agent. There might be some good use for these old pipes after all.

That's awesome! And it's something

:rose:

I would like to do as well someday.

Congrats I'm not surprised at all. I love your voice.

Playing my Pirate Sim game and it's in the Carribean, so there's a lot of Spanish ships and settlements, so naturally I'm attacking Spanish ships more than any other country. Seems I've been doing it so much that now all of the Spanish ships have little escort ships sailing with them. :D

This is really cool. I hope you get it, and keep us up to date. I'd like to sit in a theatre, and think, hey, that's FUCKING MWY as the voice of the cowboy cockroach in Pixar's latest epic.

Singing at the top of my voice in my car :D

I approve this message.

Got a Wenchie flag, and a privateer license?

Remembering that there are people that care about me.

Why, of course. It's your, um, purple duvet and all.

Baaaahahaha you want me to get on my knees for you and you can't spell "a lot" ummmmm no thanks
Gotta love CM
