There are several uk based editors on this site.

The best way to find a willing editor is to make a request here, stating the number of words, what category you will publish in.

Once you do that you may get a PM response and then you arrange how the story will be sent and returned to you. There are a variety of ways to do this and it is up to you and your chosen editor to arrange what is best.

I'm not doing too much editing as folk don't send stuff to you in a decent format. I'm sick of deleting PDFs that are locked so you can't even copy their damn text to edit it lol. I just edit work for a select few friends.

Perhaps that's the better route. I've sent two requests to the volunteer editors list, waiting to see if either of them responds.
